Rocanville United Pastoral Charge

Rocanville Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Abernethy Presbytery and containing preaching points at Rocanville, Hillburn and Prosperity. By 1932, the charge and its points had moved to Qu'Appelle Presbytery. In the 1950s, Perth was also listed as part of the charge, alongside the original three points. Prosperity amalgamated with Rocanville in 1963 and Hillburn closed in early 1964, leaving just Rocanville in the charge. Spy Hill was added, ca.1969, and the charge was listed as Rocanville - Spy Hill by the early 1980s. On January 1, 1989, Wapella joined Rocanville and Spy Hill to form the three-point charge Rocanville - Spy Hill - Wapella Pastoral Charge. Welwyn was added in the 1990s and the name was officially changed to Rocanville United Pastoral Charge, on January 1, 1998. Wapella left the charge and formed a separate Wapella Pastoral Charge in 2006.

Lang Pastoral Charge

Lang Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Weyburn Presbytery, with preaching points at Lang, Crocus Plains and Lake View [Lakeview]. In the late 1930s, Crocus Plains moved to Lewvan Pastoral Charge, joining Lewvan and Colfax appointments. Between 1951 and 1958, the charge joined with Milestone to create the joint Lang-Milestone Pastoral Charge. Between 1974 and ca.1986, appointments included Parry, as well as Lang and Milestone.

On January 1, 2013, the joint charge amalgamated with Rouleau-Wilcox Pastoral Charge to create the new Soo Line Pastoral Charge, with preaching points at Rouleau, Lang and Milestone.

Speers Pastoral Charge

Speers Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Battleford Presbytery and containing preaching points at Speers, Keystone, Keatley and Wangarren [Wanganui?]. By 1932, listed points were Speers, Hafford, Keatley, and Keystone. With the addition of Richard (between 1932 and 1936), the name changed to Speers-Richard Pastoral Charge. As of 1940, only Speers, Richard, Bromley, Hafford and Keatley were listed in the charge. Around 1967, the charge combined with Maymont and Borden-Radisson Pastoral Charges to form the shared ministry Maymont Larger Parish. After the shared ministry was dissolved, in 2005, Speers Pastoral Charge was re-established.

Pheasant Forks Pastoral Charge

Pheasant Forks Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Abernethy Presbytery and including points at Pheasant Forks, Duff and Lorlie. By 1962, the points joined with Balcarres Pastoral Charge to form the combined Balcarres - Pheasant Forks Pastoral Charge. Around 1969, the joint-charge amalgamated with Abernethy-Lemberg Pastoral Charge (with Abernethy, Lemberg and Neudorf points) and File Hills Pastoral Charge to become the new Pheasant Creek Larger Parish.

Knox Presbyterian Church (Regina)

The congregation at Knox Presbyterian Church appears to date back to around 1882, building a church in 1885, at the corner of Scarth Street and 11th Avenue, and a later replacement in 1905. Knox joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. In 1951, Knox United Church amalgamated with Metropolitan United Church, to become Knox-Metropolitan United Church (and Pastoral Charge), located on the site of the former Metropolitan United Church, at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Lorne Street.
