The Blofield School District was located, in the area south of Buffalo Pound Lake and east of Tuxford. The name was taken from a church parish near Bath, England. The first Board of Trustees consisted of A.R. Ross, R.R. Bruce, Jas. Staples and J.L.O. de la Hey. Approval by the trustees for construction of a school had been given in September 1912. In 1913 the school was built on SW 6-19-25 W2 and opened for classes on January 5, 1914.

The district originally consisted of 9600 assessable acres with 20 families and 11 children. Enrollment usually varied between ten (10) and twenty (20) pupils. Miss Mabel Moss served as the first teacher between January 1914 and June 1916.

In December 1947 the school was destroyed by fire. Classes were held in an empty house until a new school was rebuilt. At a meeting of the trustees on March 18, 1959 they voted to close the school at the end of the term and bus students to Tuxford. The building was moved to the South-West of Moose Jaw and continued to be used as a school.

The trustees continued to meet until 1962, at which time they voted to join a central board at Tuxford.

Borden Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Battleford Presbytery and containing the Borden preaching point, as well as Halcyonia and Thistle Dale (as of 1926). By 1932, Thistle Dale was no longer listed and the charge had amalgamated with Radisson to form Borden-Radisson Pastoral Charge, with points at Borden, Halcyonia and Radisson. Around 1967, the charge combined with Maymont and Speers-Richard Pastoral Charges to form the shared ministry Maymont Larger Parish. After the shared ministry was dissolved, in 2005, Borden Pastoral Charge was re-established.

Borderlands Pastoral Charge was formed around 1968, from the combination of Rockglen Pastoral Charge (including Killdeer and Fife Lake) with Coronach. The new charge was part of Assiniboia Presbytery and contained appointments at Coronach, Fife Lake, Killdeer and Rockglen (Wesley United Church). The Killdeer preaching point eventually closed June 30, 1995.

Bradwell Pastoral Charge was formed as United Church charge in 1925, part of Saskatoon Presbytery and containing appointments at Bradwell and Clavet. By 1932, the Blucher preaching point had been added but, by 1962, the charge only consisted of Bradwell, Clavet and Floral. Between 1964 and 1966, no congregations beyond Bradwell were listed in the charge. Around 1967, Clavet and Allan were added back in, then later Lost River (moving from Young-Zelma Pastoral Charge, ca.1969). Clavet appears to have closed by the early 1970s, followed by Allan, around 1976.

Clavet officially re-opened, as a separate Pastoral Charge, on May 15, 1982, while Bradwell Pastoral Charge continued on, with congregations at Lost River and Bradwell (Knox United Church). Lost River officially closed June 25, 1989.

Bridging Waters Pastoral Charge was formed January 1, 2006, as part of Tamarack Presbytery, from an amalgamation of Nipawin-Codette Pastoral Charge and Torch River Pastoral Charge. Preaching points initially included Choiceland, Codette, Nipawin and White Fox. Choiceland closed June 30, 2017, and White Fox closed December 28, 2018.

Briercrest College was originally founded as a bible study in Briercrest, Saskatchewan. It became Briercrest Bible Institute on October 19, 1935. Preacher Henry Hildebrand served as principal, Jean Whittaker, Margaret Rusk, and Mrs. Isabel Whittaker administered and taught, while Donald McMillian later became assistant principal. Property was purchased in Caronport in 1946 that would later become the site of Caronport High School later that year. The school became an accredited bible college in 1976, and in 1982 its name was changed from Briercrest Bible Institute to Briercrest Bible College.
