Elizabeth Cahill and Aline Moen met in Whitehorse in May 1953 when they were both nurses there. Elizabeth also knew Aline's sister Nora. Aline gave Elizabeth the bound volume, and Elizabeth donated it to the Swift Current Museum. The paperwork for the donation was generated by the Swift Current Museum on January 29, 2020. It was completed by Elizabeth Cahill and returned. The donation was completed on February 28, 2020.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of a bound volume entitled "The Life and Times of Helmina Hansina Aline Moen James, RN, Nonagenarian Vegetarian Extraordinaire", written by Jack A. Gordon, dated March 31, 2007. It includes a brief summary of the Moen siblings as well as a chronology listing the major events in history during Aline's lifetime and copies of many photographs. An addendum with further information and photographs was added at an unknown date.
