General note

Sledges and cabooses were used for transportation during winter. Farmers parked their Sledges and cabooses at Fletts barn where their horses were put in the barn and fed. Some brought there own feed to save on expenses. The cabooses were rectangle in shape and made of wood, the roof could be wood or canvas. There was a window in the front, sides and rear. The door was at the back or the side. There would be a stove inside with a stovepipe up through the roof. The reins for the horses came inside through a slot below the front window.
