This fonds contains materials created or accumulated by Walter Slipchenko during his career and during research for his definitive report, Canada's Arctic Cooperation with the Soviet Union and Russia, 1965-2000. The documentation is comprehensive, covering a number of subjects and organizations, and provides a valuable record of circumpolar life across several nations. In addition to the physical items, it includes a website, www.walterslipchenko.com which provides further information on the scope of the report and the development of international, circumpolar relationships.

Fiji Robinson fonds

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Margaret (Fiji) Robinson in her career as a vocalist and performer in the musical revues The Quinlan Sisters (comprised of Robinson, Peter McGehee and Wendy Coad) between 1981 and 1984, and The Fabulous Sirs (Robinson and McGehee) between 1987 and 1990 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Toronto, Ontario.

It also includes records created, accumulated and used by Robinson between 1990 and 2007 in the development of a book proposal and subsequent film proposal on her career as a performance artist working with writer/director Peter McGehee. Research and notes for the online GLBTQ On-Line Encyclopedia entry for McGehee's life partner, human rights activist Douglas Wilson, are also included.

It also includes records created, accumulated and used by Robinson in 2008 and 2009 in the course of producing Painted on the Spot: On the Road with Ernie Luthi, a documentary about Ernest Luthi (1906-1983), an artist from Punnichy, Saskatchewan.

The types of records included are research notes, drafts of written works, clippings, programmes, posters, song lyrics, music scores, photographs, budgets, grant applications, curricula vitae, drawings, photocopies of correspondence to Ernest Luthi, a CD-ROM and an audio cassette recording of The Fabulous Sirs in concert at the 1988 Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival.

This collection reflects the historical research conducted by Ken Bradley in preparation for his book entitled Out of bounds: a century of golf in Moose Jaw. The research includes print outs and photocopies of newspaper articles, primarily from the Moose Jaw Time Herald, about golf in Moose Jaw from 1900-2008. It also includes summaries written by Bradley of golf happenings in the area.

This fonds documents the career and interests of Glenis Joyce. The material regarding the Extension Division shows the growth and evolution of the Women's Program. Much of the material in the fonds deals with equity issues at the university and in society in general and includes pay and employment equity, affirmative action, women's rights and academic freedom. Joyce chaired the transformative President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women in the 1990s.

This fonds contains materials relating to the career of Christopher Kent, professor and head of the history department at the University of Saskatchewan. This fonds documents his time as a professor teaching various history classes, his work in supervising masters and phd students in their thesis writing, his work with the Research Society for Victorian Periodicals and the Victorian Studies Association of Western Canada, as well as his time as head of the history department including his work with the Canadian Journal of History. Also included are some materials from his undergrad studies at the University of Toronto – mainly syllabus and other handouts, with some notes and essays when they related to his later research areas. As per his faculty bio his “research areas are “Bohemia” in Britain 1815-1914 – that is the social history of the artistic and literary professions and their relationship to the idea of Bohemia as a social and cultural, as well as actual physical space (particularly in London). Other continuing and related research interests are Victorian journalism and journalists, and Victorian novels and novelists.”
