The fonds consists of textual materials generated by Maymont Larger Parish and its predecessors and successors, including Borden, Borden-Radisson (including Halcyonia), Maymont (including Fielding and Eastbourne), Speers and Speers-Richard Pastoral Charges, as well as their constituent congregations – church boards, committees and related bodies, local women’s units and other groups.

Contents include: minutes of official boards and Trustees, Stewards, Session, congregational, committees, and Sunday School meetings; records of local Ladies Aid Societies, Woman’s Association (W.A.) and United Church Women (UC.W.) groups; minutes from local youth Explorer and C.G.I.T. units; various financial records; some reports, clippings and correspondence; communion rolls and Circuit Registers; a Mission Station record book from Fielding and Eastbourne; and registers of baptisms, marriages, and burials held at Maymont (Sharon United), Fielding, Eastbourne, Radisson (Zion United, St. Paul’s Presbyterian), Borden (Methodist, United), Halcyonia, Lilac, Keatley, Keystone, Bromley, Rabbit Lake, Mullingar, Richard, Speers, and related locations.

This collection consists of exhibition catalogues, posters, invitations and promotional ephemera, primarily (but not exclusively) from Canadian art galleries. The catalogues predominantly feature the work of Canadian artists, with some European and American artists (and minimal representation from Asian artists). The collection provides interesting documentation of the development of Canadian art across the country, including regional focus and to some extent, the development of interest in Indigenous art. In addition, the collection includes some auction catalogues, as well as items relating to advertising; art and design used in industry promotion; and industrial design.

As a reflection of planning at a post-secondary U-15 institution, this fonds is particularly strong, notably for the materials surrounding the Issues and Options project.

Cross-Dressing in Saskatchewan collection

This collection consists of programs, posters, photographs, video recordings and artefacts documenting the development of gay drag in Saskatchewan. The materials are primarily from Saskatoon with some from Regina, and most date from 1984 to 2004. Also included in the collection are records related to the exhibit "All Frocked Up: Glimpses of Cross Dressing in Saskatchewan," produced by Neil Richards in 2003 and presented in the Link Gallery at the University of Saskatchewan. Materials in this collection were donated by Brent Daum, Tim LeMay, Guedo Philipchuk, Neil Richards, Garnet Woloschuk and Maria Jochmaring.

Doris Hillis fonds

This collection includes working papers and completed versions of Hillis’ published and unpublished poetry, drama, and fiction, as well as research and correspondence related thereto. The collection includes a range of interviews conducted by Hillis with a number of Saskatchewan authors for her books Voices and Visions and Plainspeaking. This collection also includes chapbooks published by Andrew Suknaski, Lorna Uher, and Mick Burrs.
Further, the collection contains a range of materials gathered by Doris on the subject of puppetry for her work with the Macklin Puppeteers throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s. Her personal memoirs are also included, as are materials from her involvement in Saskatchewan’s literary community, including helpful information on the art of writing from her workshops.
