David Thauberger fonds

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers of Saskatchewan artist David Thauberger, (1954-1989). Included are: ceramic sculptures, paintings, and prints created by Thauberger; awards and degrees; financial records; business and personal correspondence; a series of files documenting Thauberger's dealings with numerous Canadian art galleries; and photographs, slides and publications relating to Thauberger and his work. The fonds also contains the artist's extensive collection of articles, books, catalogues, invitations, correspondence, newspaper clippings, notes and writings, art works, photographs, slides, and sound recordings relating to Saskatchewan folk art. The collection includes recorded interviews, art works, and slides and photos depicting artworks by numerous artists, among them Ed Fletcher, Ann Harbuz, Molly Lenhardt, W.C. McCargar, Sam Spencer, Fred Neibrandt, Fred Moulding, and many others. Within the slides, some Quebec and Nova Scotia coverage is also present.

Included are: a chronologically arranged series of drawings and sketches (1963-1986); small qualities of business correspondence (1971-1988) and financial records (1973-1986); photographs and slides depicting works of art by Proch, as well as travel shots; and publications, news clippings, and promotional material relating to the artist and his work.

Dorothy Bee fonds

Fonds consists of personal memorabilia accumulated by music professor Dorothy Bee, 1903-1986. Included are biographical information, correspondence, certificates, programs, photographs, clippings, place-mats, publications, and artifacts relating chiefly to musical act writers and such organizations as the Saskatchewan Provincial Music Teachers Association, Regina College Institute, the Regina Conservatory of Music, and the Lemberg Auxiliary. Noteworthy is the small collection of programs relating to various music recitals, concerts, and festivals (1916-1972). Also included is a sound disc recording of a piano performance by Miss Bee's student, Angela Gabriel.

Included are: Original drawings and sketches; Photographs and slides depiciting family, friends, artists, exhibitions and studios, and works of art by Doug Morton and others; and publications including exhibition catalogues, invitations, articles, publicity material, and clippings relating to Morton and other artists. A series of general files contain personal and business correspondence, biographical information, financial records, material relating to Morton's art projects, speaking engagements, jurying activities, and professional associatiions, and to his various work appointments.

Duncan Blewett fonds

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers created by psychology professor Duncan Blewett, 1954-1988. The bulk of the material has not been processed, but it includes: personal (1965-1988) and professional (1958-1979) correspondence; writings, speeches, and notes by Dr. Blewett (1958-1985) chiefly relating to psychedelics and psychotronics; articles by others about Dr. Blewett and his work (1959-1984), teaching materials and student theses (1972-1986); and various published works. Especially noteworthy is the extensive documentation relating to LSD research undertaken by Blewett and others, dating from 1955-1984 and comprised of interview forms, patient assessment scales, correspondence, data tables, reports, clippings, notes, and unpublished and published articles. A small quantity of material pertaining to departmental matters is also present.

Fonds consists of background information, correspondence, contracts, drafts, manuscripts, notes, reviews, financial information, and publicity materials relating to the writing, publishing, and production of five books, three plays, and numerous articles by Gail Bowen. Also included are examinations, student papers, and teaching materials pertaining to her role as a professor of English, and a small quantity of personal correspondence and financial records.

Garry Fairbairn fonds

Fonds consists of the professional papers of journalist Garry Fairbairn, arranged in three series reflecting three spheres of activity. The first series contains correspondence, copy, clippings, and other records documenting his career as a reporter for the Canadian Press Organization (CP), 1962-1981. The second series pertains to Fairbairn's involvement in the Saskatchewan Journalists Association, 1973-1978. It contains executive minutes, clippings, membership lists, briefs, correspondence, incorporation, founding convention and annual meeting materials, financial information, and publications including issues of 'The Saskatchewan Journalist'. Administrative files, research materials, photographs, and drafts relating to Fairbairn's commissioned book:, 'From Prairie Roots: the Remarkable Story of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool', comprise the third series.

Geoffrey Ursell fonds

Fonds consists of personal and professional papers of Saskatchewan writer Geoffrey Ursell. The bulk of the fonds is composed of background and research materials, drafts, manuscripts, revisions, notes, publications, publicity material, contracts, correspondence, outlines, scripts, photographs, and other documentation relating to Ursell's extensive writing projects including novels, plays, poetry, short stories, and songs, as well as writing workshops. Since several of his works are historical in nature, some of the research files contain copies of archival documents and photos dating back to the 1800s. Ursell's association with a number of professional organizations including ACTRA, Saskatchewan Sport Trust, the Saskatchewan Writers Guild, and others are reflected in files containing reports, committee records, membership lists, minutes, publicity material, financial records, correspondence, policy papers, and grant applications. A substantial series of business files contain correspondence, financial records, and other documentation pertaining to his diverse endeavors, and his involvement as an editor with Coteau Books and Salt magazine is documented through business records and edited manuscripts by other writers. Records relating to his M.A. and Ph.D theses, and to his teaching career at the University of Manitoba and the University of Regina, and small quantities of personal correspondence are also present.
