This fonds consists of correspondence, research notes, drafts, and manuscripts relating to King's books: "A Book of Canadian Poems;" "A Book of Essays;" "Extending the Boundaries;" "The First Fifty;" "Saskatchewan: The Making of a University;" "Saskatchewan Harvest;" and "Three Stories by Joseph Conrad." Additionally, it includes King's articles, lectures, and addresses dealing primarily with Canadian literature. There is also material related to King's other interests: the career and works of G.B. Shaw and R.A. Wilson, provincial and national library associations, and pacifism.

This fonds contains biographical material, including a Paul family history and reminiscences and anecdotes by L.C. Paul, as well as several of his articles. In addition, there is both the manuscript and published version of the History of Extension (1910-1970), and a file on the Retired Faculty Association. The addendum contains clippings and article pertaining to the history of agriculture and agricultural science in Western Canada.

This fonds contains a number of files concerning feminism and the status of women, including the Federal Government Advisory Council and the Saskatchewan Action Committee on the Status of Women. There are also several subject files containing pamphlets on topics such as family planning, marriage contracts, rape, sex stereotyping, and women in education, politics, religion, and the labour force. There are files on women in Canadian universities, the Saskatoon Business and Professional Women's Association, International Women's Year, Florence Howe, Edith Rowles Simpson, and the Saskatchewan Conference on Children. The fonds contains various publications, including "Federal Services for Women," "Status of Women News," "Towards Equality for Women," "Continuum," "Upstream," and "Canadian Newsletter of Research on Women" (later known as "Resources for Feminist Research"). This fonds also contains a binder of publications and ephemera from Saskatchewan's Golden Jubilee (1955).

This collection contains considerable material relating to aviation history, particularly in western and northern Canada, including material on: the Keng Wah Aviation School for Nationalist Chinese pilots; the RCAF; illustrations of the technology of flight; reference material; and microfilms of the Hudson Strait Expedition fonds (1927-1928) and "The Bulletin" (Western Canada Airways, 1929-1937). Additionally, there is material on Tweddell's other research interests, notably aerial mapping and surveying.

This fonds contains correspondence with teachers, government officials, colleagues and the general public concerning plant specimens, diseases, identification and equipment.

This fonds consists largely of Richards' correspondence, lecture materials, personal data, addresses, articles, and research material. His work on the "Atlas of Saskatchewan" is included as is a variety of research material from studies done on an array of topics including land use, mapping, Saskatchewan land inventory, Grasslands National Park, recreational land use, regional planning, land use conflicts, and the NASA course at the Johnson Space Centre.

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes, and reports for the following committees: Computer Advisory Committee; Computer Management Committee; Computer Budget Committee; Computer Hardware Subcommittee; and Computer Selection Committee. The collection also contains two articles by Professor Wacker: "Switching Noise Studies on Powerline Courier" (1967) and "Image Representation Via Its Symmetrical Components" (1986).

This fonds contains biographical data; correspondence with colleagues and publishers; draft and corrected manuscripts of published books, articles and reviews; publicity and notes for public lectures; class and course notes; photographs of excavation sites; articles by other authors; research notes and bibliographical cards.

This fonds contains an initial section of articles and reviews written by J.M Hayden. The remainder is correspondence, notes, drafts, and research material relating to his Doctoral thesis, "The Estates General of 1614" and his four published books: "France and the Estates General of 1614", "The Manning of the British Navy During the Seven Years War" [written by Stephen Gradish and edited by Hayden], "So Much To Do, So Little Time: The Writings of Hilda Neatby" and "Seeking A Balance: The University of Saskatchewan 1907-1982." The latter two contain the most extensive material, and are particularly relevant to the study of the University of Saskatchewan's history.

This collection contains files relating to University of Saskatchewan salary negotiations, with particular reference to librarian's salaries.

This fonds contains records generated outside Dr. Spinks' tenure as President of the University of Saskatchewan. The material deals with the Canada West Foundation, the Chemical Institute of Canada, nuclear energy, Gas and Oil Conservation Board, National Research Council (NRC), Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), and education at the University of Saskatchewan.

This fonds contains a number of files concerning the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), including the activities and research projects of the Veterinary Infectious Diseases Organization (VIDO), the 1976 Study of Veterinary Manpower in Canada, computer assisted Animal Health Management, and the Preventive Medicine Committee: the latter two specifically concerning the establishment of a herd health data laboratory and disease control programs. In addition, there are several files related to Professor Nielsen's involvement with the Institute for Northern Studies (INS), the President's Advisory Council on Programs for People of Native Ancestry, game ranching in the north, and the Arctic Training Centre at Rankin Inlet. There is a considerable amount of material concerning the Environmental Advisory Council, and specifically, the Churchill River inquiry, Key Lake, the Environment 80 Report, and an uranium pollution control policy. It also contains some material concerning the establishment of a zoo at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm

The fonds is comprised of small press gardening publications and offprints collected by Maginnes, as well as videos on his subjects of interest. The largest segment of the fonds is Maginnes’ collection of 35mm slides, which feature lecture slides and images related to his greenhouse work, images of his sabbatical trips to Denmark, Sweden, and Japan, and personal family images.

This fonds contains materials relating to the professional activities of Grant Wood, including papers he has presented at conferences, and his work in the Canada Mongolia Training for Rural Development Project. Also included are some of his early teaching materials, and materials collected on subjects related to his field.

Documents in the fonds relate to the National Research Council - International Biological Program Natural Area Survey - Conservation Terrestrial Saskatchewan Region. Most regions of Canada had an IBP Committee working toward the establishment of a Natural Area system. The Sask. provincial program started in 1968. Fieldwork began in 1969 with 95 areas were selected for the inventory.
