This fonds consists of bound books of lecture notes written by J.T. Hébert. Some of the books contain lecture notes for classes being taught by Hébert at the University of Saskatchewan. However, many of the books appear to be notes from classes taken by Hébert as a law student at Harvard University and Dalhousie University. In some cases, notes that appear to have been originally taken when he was a student seem to have been further annotated by him years later for use in his own lectures. When a notation at the front of the book indicates that the notes were originally taken as a student at another university, Archives staff have noted this in the file list including the original professor’s name, if noted in the book.

This collection contains notes, abstracts, and correspondence relating to 7 research articles by Dr. Turel, as well as a copy of her PhD thesis.

The fonds consists primarily of material relating to Bietenholz's research and writing. In particular, the fonds includes copies of some of his own publications, offprints by others, files (notes, photocopies, etc.) relating to some of his books and papers, offprints and research material relating to Erasmus, and correspondence relating to publishing and research activities, including visits to African and Asian universities.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, addresses, minutes, and research material relating to Thorvaldson's academic interests and work as a consultant, his involvement with various national scientific organizations, and with the University of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Lacalli's research involves the embryology and larval forms of marine invertebrates: principally, the development of the nervous system and the formation pattern in these organisms. His work has included theoretical, computer-based studies of how pattern and formation appear de novo in embryos as they develop, and microanatomical studies (primarily, via serial electron microscopy) of the developing nervous system in simple invertebrates near the evolutionary stem from which vertebrates, with their advanced nervous system, evolved. The process developed by Lacalli enabled an image of the whole body of their specimens in one micrograph, a relatively rare achievement and one which enabled him to analyse the nervous system in far more detail than was previously possible. This fonds contains an extensive collection of the electron micrographs taken by Lacalli, together with research notes, offprints, and other documentation relating to his research activities

This fonds documents the academic career of William Maher, including correspondence with colleagues; research notes and logs, drafts, and articles; together with numerous film images of wildlife.

The material in this fonds relates to Denham's career as a Professor of English, as well as a significant amount relating to his association with "NeWest Review" from 1983 to 1999. Denham served primarily as literary review editor for NeWest (the book review section was one of the more popular features of the magazine) and more generally as a member of the editorial board. The fonds contains materials collected and/or created by other NeWest editors, including Margaret Gail Osachoff (theatre reviews), Lewis Horne (fiction reviews), Jim Miller, Bill Waiser, and David Carpenter.

The fonds consists of synopses of lectures about Australian literature prepared by critic and poet Tom Inglis Moore. The notes were obtained by Scott in 1954-55 when he took Tom Inglis Moore's course in literature at the Canberra University College, Australia (now part of the Australian National University). Tom Inglis Moore pioneered the study of Australian literature as a subject, and 1954-55 was the first year any Australian university or college offered such a course.

The bulk of this fonds deals with the literary creations of John Livingstone Clark and contains correspondence, clippings, cartoons, drafts, notes and publications.

This fonds represents an important resource of secondary material regarding the history, composition, use, proliferation, detection and disposal of chemical and biological weapons and the agencies responsible for their control.

This fonds primarily contains material relating to the research activities of E.Y. Spencer, including chemical analysis of various grains; silicates; sterols; synthetic proteins; solvent extractions from lignites; and an analysis of freshwater fish. Additionally, there is some material concerning various national and provincial organizations, including the Chemical Institute of Canada; the National Research Council; and the American Association of Cereal Chemists.

This fonds contains correspondence with colleagues, students and friends, subject files including information on the role of scientists in public affairs and education, nuclear energy, labour relations, various University of Saskatchewan committees and the Department of Physics, lecture and research notes, articles, reports and work that was in progress at the time of Dr. Skinner's death. There is also a substantial section of reference material.

Collection includes samples of Bhatty’s published and unpublished works, copies of his three theses from the University of Edinburgh; awards, patents, and certificates; correspondence and other academic materials. Accession 2015-023 is comprised of four CD’s of unlabelled family images.
