This fonds contains material relating to theatre in Saskatchewan. In particular, productions from the University of Saskatchewan (Greystone Theatre) and Gateway Players are well represented, but there is also material from numerous other theatre groups, including The Actor’s Lab, New Theatre Co-op, and Saskatoon Community Players. This fonds contains programmes from various plays, concerts, and cultural events, together with numerous productions in which Chrisse Bornstein played a role, either as an actor or behind the scenes. This information has been included within the file descriptions.

The fonds includes material documenting William Deverell’s career primarily as a writer and a lawyer. Among other material, included are research and drafts relating to most of his books and screenplays; other writing; documents re court cases, particularly those used as background for books and screenplays (including the CBC series Scales of Justice); records relating to The Writers Union of Canada; material relating to early activities including newspaper articles written by Deverell and clippings etc. relating to his election campaigns and trials he was involved in; videocassettes of his films Shellgame and Mindfield; correspondence with agents, publishers, producers, fans, etc., and other records relating to the publication and promotion of his books and films; and professional and personal correspondence with Carol Shields, Marian Engel, Margaret Atwood, Susan Musgrave, Stephen Reid and others.

The majority of this collection are articles written by McGeachy for a variety of Canadian publications over his long and distinguished career as a journalist. It also contains some correspondence, and a scrapbook.

The Westcott-Hurley Collection contains many finished paintings, sketches, and experimental artworks by Hurley as well as correspondence, newspaper clippings, slides and photographs of Hurley, as well as his family, friends, and things that interested him.

The material in this fonds deal with Glaze’s life including school and extracurricular interests as a youth and later as a journalist, fiction writer, editor and educator.

This collection contains original works of art, photographs, and documentation relating to classes Ms. Perron took at the University of Saskatchewan, notably fine art classes. Her professors included Bill Epp, Otto Rogers, and Eli Bornstein; her classmates included Bob Christie and Doug Bentham.

This fonds contains biographical information, material from the College of Law as well as from Valentin Linitsky's law practice, and considerable material relating to primary school education, including examinations and textbooks.

This fonds includes records relating to the development and maintenance of Regina Waterfowl Park (part of the Wascana Authority); preservation of grasslands; and other material relating to Saskatchewan's parks and natural history.

This fonds contains numerous of Marie Elyse St. George’s prints and sketches, together with some textual records relating to print-making and writing.

The contents of this fonds is primarily drafts and clippings of articles and editorials by Margaret Weiers. The fonds also includes the first draft of manuscript Against The Odds which became Envoys Extraordinary: Women of the Canadian Foreign Service, published by Dundurn Press in 1995.

The fonds contains personal ephemera including cards, sketches, art, and photographs, from the Russell/Walker/Hurley families. A number of Hurley’s letters and cards include sketches, pictograms, and “Hurleyniks”. The personal correspondence includes updates on personal achievements, activities and health concerns. Hurley’s failing eyesight is apparent in later letters.

This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, photographs and printed material dealing primarily with the artistic career of Ruth Pawson. These slides represent a complete catalogue of Ruth Pawson's artwork, as well as images of friends' cabins and other locations where she liked to paint. Most of the slides were annotated; title, price, size, sales, some notes, and dates where provided have been listed here. Please note that the date on the slide may refer to the date of sale, and not the date the work was created. The slides arrived in a series of boxes, each of which was labelled with dates, and have been left in that order.

This collection provides diverse views of northern Canada from the 1940s, the 1960s, and the 1990s. The Miscellaneous Textual Records series also contains a Prosperity Certificate issued by the Government of Alberta in 1936.

This collection contains an audio tape interview with Harrington from September 1975, covering his early life and career. [Note: a second tape from this session is missing, although there is a brief summary of the the topics covered]. Other items in the collection are a 1924 University of Minnesota Commencement Programme and Harrington's Ph.D. degree.

This fonds contains Rife’s diary for 1910, the year he decided to lease his homestead and pursue a degree at the University of Saskatchewan. A book owned by his father, George Rife, documents the area of Pennsylvania where Rife family were before they emigrated to Canada. Notes by Rife’s daughter provide context and additional information.
