This collection contains lecture notes taken by Dr. Roy while she was a student at the University of Saskatchewan. Predominately from English classes, these include notes on lectures given by Professors R.A. Wilson, J.M. Lothian, J.A. Bentley, Edith Brown, Jean Bayer, Murdoch Matheson, and Carlyle King. Included also are notes from a summer school art history class, taught at Emma Lake; and an English course from the University of Toronto.

This fonds consists primarily of the research material for and chapter drafts of "The Prairie Builder."

This fonds documents the career of Douglas Schmeiser, notably his work as a constitutional advisor both in Canada and internationally; his work with the Law Reform Commission of Saskatchewan, as well as his study of judicial independence and judicial compensation; and his work on human rights.

This fonds contains biographical information, material from the College of Law as well as from Valentin Linitsky's law practice, and considerable material relating to primary school education, including examinations and textbooks.

The fonds documents the ancestry, activities and interests of D.F. Robertson. His varied careers (military officer, priest and academic librarian) give Robertson's papers an unique and varied glimpse into recent Canadian history. The military material from the 1950s, specifically his involvement with the first NATO force and the International Commission for Supervision and Control, document Canadian involvement in two post-war international endeavours from the view of an active participant.

This fonds contains research notes, articles, clippings, circulars, and reports on topics including forage crops, root studies, dairy production, settlement and migration, and the railway.

This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, financial fonds, reports, and notes pertaining to the activities and interests of R.C. Carter.

This collection contains drafts, revised and working scripts, continuity reports, schedules, breakdowns, and cast calls.

This fonds contains notes and photocopies and transcripts of published and unpublished research material used in the publication of "Reflections of Light: A History of The Saskatoon Normal School (1912-1953) and The Saskatoon Teachers' College (1953-1964)".

This fonds reflects Kerr's vocational and avocational interests. His academic activities include not only his own writing in a variety of genres but also his editing, assessment and review of the contributions of others to prose, poetry, drama and film. His service to the community external to the University is primarily evident in the political, arts and heritage fields.

This collection provides diverse views of northern Canada from the 1940s, the 1960s, and the 1990s. The Miscellaneous Textual Records series also contains a Prosperity Certificate issued by the Government of Alberta in 1936.

The fonds contains personal and professional correspondence, worksheets and drafts of poetic, dramatic and prose works, speeches and addresses to student and service groups and audiovisual materials relating to interviews, readings, etc., as they pertain to Story's career as a journalist, teacher and writer.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, publications and memoranda relating to the research activities of Herman Austenson, as well as some administrative records relating to the department of Crop Science and Plant Ecology, and the research activities of the Crop Development Centre. Some of the materials were created by J.B. Harrington; these files have been identified whenever possible.

This fonds contains documentation relating to the Hones' extensive involvement in the arts--notably, the art scene in Saskatchewan during the early 1940s and the establishment of the Saskatoon Arts Centre, the Art Association of Saskatoon, "The Prospectors," along with correspondence from friends Ernie Lindner, Nonie Mulcaster, Robert Hurley, etc. The Hone=s own artistic work is also well documented; as is their exceptional community work: with the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation, UNESCO, Voice of Women, Regina Community Clinic, etc. The Hones were also actively involved with the Unitarian Fellowship, Regina. Additionally, this fonds contains business records from ADM Hone, Mac's father, documenting early land / mining / logging rights and development in the west. An extensive collection of slides documents the art and architecture of numerous countries visited by the Hones; including personal and commercial images of international works of art. The slide collection also illustrates many of the themes used in the Hones' art, and documents their family, friends, and interests.
