Ball Game - adults in school yard #1

Men and women in front of schoolyard swings. Woman in long fancy dress is swinging a bat. Catcher in vest and white shirt, dress pants and hat is behind the female batter. A large group of men, women and children, very well-dressed, are standing behind the catcher pretty close to the action. One man in military uniform may be the umpire.

Outdoor scene in early century

Group of people, men, women and children very dressed up. Women are wearing elaborate hats and one woman has an open parasol or umbrella. A little girl is wearing a "pinafore." Dresses are blowing in the wind.

IODE Women on Parade

Parade on Railway Ave., Rosetown as identified by the buildings in the background. Believed to be Independent Daughters of the Empire, a group active in Rosetown in the early century. Date is established by the sign on the building - Tues, July 18, which occurred in 1910, 1916, 1922.

Charles Taylor

Charles Taylor as a very young man. He was well-known in Rosetown as a long-term mortician (undertaker). He was mayor of Rosetown from 1920-1922.

Herb Greenwood

Herb Greenwood was the owner of the Greenwood Block apartments on First Street East. He was mayor of Rosetown from 1953-1960. Homesteaded in the RM of St. Andrews. Herb Greenwood was also an SGI agent from 1946-1964.
