It includes his client lists and account information. Irwin sold various kinds of insurance, such as life and fire insurance, as well as real estate. He also offered mortgages and loans. The ledger also includes the personal account of Irwin.

This series contains cheque books of the South African War Veterans Association from 1948 to 1962. An account book of The Imperial Bank of Canada, tracking the account of the Association from 1938 until 1962 is included, along with this are account statements from the said Bank dating from 1945 through 1960. Also included receipt books of donations and membership dues paid to the association and receipts of certain purchases that were made with association funds. All these are considered in annual financial statements that are recorded by the association.
