This collection contains biographical material and personal correspondence, as well as files relating to Professor Coburn's work in the Dept. of Psychiatry, his affiliation with the New Democratic Party, and his membership with the Unitarian Universalist Church. There are several files on City and St. Paul's Hospitals, other universities, and articles, lecture notes, book reviews, speeches and addresses by Dr. Coburn.

This fonds contains materials relating to the initial research into physician health care. Vincent was one of the pioneers in this field, and much of his research and interests relate to the identification of and assistance for physicians under duress in their working, private, and spiritual lives. In addition, there is material relating to the development of the Palliative Care Movement at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal, in the early 1970's, as well as material regarding Christianity and medicine, ethics, alcohol abuse, marriage and family relationships, etc.

This fond consists of personal and general correspondence of Dr. Bailey with his medical colleagues in Minnesota and Saskatchewan. Some of the correspondence relates to the implementation of Medicare in Saskatchewan and the doctor’s strike. The fonds also includes files relating to Dr. Bailey's work with the Canadian Neurological Society and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. It also includes minutes and memorandums from the Department of Medicine and the Laboratory and X-Ray Committee of the University Hospital.

This fonds contains Sorokin's: manuscripts, published works, correspondence, clippings, Harvard University Administrative files, and administrative files of the Research Centre for Creative Alturism. Also included are a few photographs, a microfilm and cassette tapes, as well as works by others about Sorokin and his theories. Some of the material about Sorokin was added after his death.

This collection consists primarily of photocopies of correspondence, articles, photographs, sessional papers, and press clippings, related to William Henry Jackson (or Honore Jaxon, as he is also known) including copies of his correspondence. The originals of much of the material dates from 1885. The material is organized and recorded according to the structure that Griffen and Greenland have devised.

It also includes considerable documentation of the various administrative committees functioning during this period.

This fonds contains material created or collected by Dr. Williamson during his varied career as an anthropologist, civil servant, legislator, professor, and as a consultant for various provincial, national and international organizations and governments. Although primarily documenting Dr. Williamson's work for and with the Inuit of northern Canada, this fonds includes material relating to all circumpolar countries, other aboriginal groups in Canada, international affairs, and a very broad range of topics as they relate to the north, including art and culture, physical geography, sport, environment, botany, zoology, economics, defence, etc. It includes his personal and professional correspondence, research data, articles and scholarly writing, as well as a substantial collection of reference publications.
