The collection contains black and white original photographs of Melfort sports teams between the years ca. 1924 - 1953. Three feature Melfort hockey teams of the early 1920s, while the reamining four feature Melfort Junior baseball teams of the early 1950s. Historically significant images include those of Melfort's Saskatchewan Junior Champion baseball teams of 1950 - 1953.

The fonds, related to the Swift Current Tourism Committee, the Horseshoe Tourism Region, Quota Club, Swift Current Natural History Society, Swift Current Rotary Club, Swift Current Indians, Hall's Legionnaires, Swift Current Broncos, Swift Current and District Men's Fastball League, curling, Museums Association of Saskatchewan - Prairie Trails Museum Network, and the Swift Current Museum were accumulated by the source. Fonds consists of three scrapbooks the donor created filled with newspaper clippings relating to the Swift Current Broncos hockey team for the 1971-72 and 1972-73 seasons.

This fonds contains various team photographs, hockey programs from 1971 to 2001, newspaper clippings, Humboldt Bronco's 25th Anniversary booklet and 2003 Royal Cup program

The fonds contains one black and white photograph from Gerald Fitzgerald's personal collection. The photograph depicts the Melfort High School's h ockey team from 1930-1931. The team was the winner of the Hobberlin Cup.

The fonds contains 80 black and white photographs. Some of the images were collected by the Melfort Historical Committee from local individuals for their pioneer artifact displays. Other photographs were taken by either the Melfort Historical Committee or the Melfort Agricultural Society. All of the images were taken in Melfort, Saskatchewan and surrounding areas between 1906 and the 1950's. The photographs document a wide variety of subjects including: Melfort Agricultural Society events like farm camps, parades, exhibitions, and competitions. Other subjects include Melfort schools, businesses, hockey teams, and locations as well as farming activities and weddings.

The collections consist of a pictorial history of the life and livelihood of David J. Lafond and his family.

The collection contains James Chatterton Clark's black and white photographs and a photocopy of one of his photographs. The original dates range from 1908 to 1962. Historically important images in the fonds include a photograph of thirty-six Melfort pioneers and a photograph of Mr. Babington (Melfort Moon Owner), Mr. and Mrs. Clemens (Melfort Post Office and Rothwell S.D #318 )Mr. Mouncy (Livery Stables), and Mr. Clark (first school teacher at Rothwell S.D #318 ). Other images include: the Melfort Band, the Melfort Collegiate, and a Y.M.C.C. Carnival.
