Included are lecture notes and glass lantern slides on glaciation; records relating to a high school teachers' seminar in chemistry (1960) and the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Association (1948); and colour slides depicting the sod turning, construction, and completed buildings of the main campus, University of Regina. Fonds consists of personal and professional papers created by author, journalist, and television producer, William H. Stevenson, 1953-1979. Since Stevenson often worked simultaneously as a foreign correspondent, author, and T.V. producer, the records have been arranged chronologically to delineate these roles during various periods of his life. Included are notebooks, brochures, publications, articles, correspondence, and photographs pertaining to his work as a correspondent in Asia, Africa, China, Russia, and Malaysia while reporting for Near and Far East News (Asia) Ltd., the 'Toronto Telegram', the CBC, and other agencies. His records as an author include reviews, publications, correspondence, publicity materials, manuscripts, contracts, notes, expenses, research files, notebooks, newspaper clippings, and photographs relating to the research, writing, publication, and promotion of the books, 'Birds' Nests in Their Beards', 'The Bushbabies'. 'Strike Zion', 'Zanek', 'Emperor Red', 'The Bormann Brotherhood', 'A Man Called Intrepid', 'Intrepid's Last Case', '90 Minutes at Entebbe', and 'Ghosts of Africa'. Records documenting Stevenson's activities as a television producer relate to programs on China, Yugoslavia, various CBC 'Tuesday Night' productions, and film and T.V. treatments of 'Bushbabies', and 'A Man Called Intrepid'. Small quantities of personal material and records relating to speaking engagements are also present in this fonds. Of particular note is the 60cm of material dealing with Stevenson's biography of Sir William Stephenson, 'A Man Called Intrepid', which contains extensive correspondence between the author and his subject, 1972-1978. Researchers should note that, despite information to the contrary contained in the book's introduction, no copies of British intelligence documents are included in this fonds.

Fonds consists of records created by Western Producer Prairie Books publishing company, (1954-1988). The records are arranged in fifteen series reflecting the functions of the organization: Administration; Author Files; Books; Calendars; Catalogues; Committees; Design Files; Editorial Files; Education Files; Festivals and Fairs; Financial Records; Manuscripts; Publicity and Promotion; Songbook; and Computer Print-outs. The records primarily cover the years in which Prairie Books operated as an independent department, 1975-1991. However, the majority of books published back to 1954 are found in the collection, by a wide variety of authors including such popular prairie writers as James Gray, John Charyk, Hugh Dempsey, Grant MacEwan, R.H. MacDonald, J.G. MacGregor and many more. The fonds is remarkably complete, containing annual reports, marketing materials, budgets, personnel records, grant files, contacts, photographs, production records, publications, financial statements, sales records, inventory reports, customer files, manuscripts, book ideas, meeting files, and other records documenting all aspects of the book publishing business. Of particular interest is the extensive correspondence with authors, publishers, federal and provincial government agencies, libraries, bookstores, book clubs, book sellers' organizations, suppliers, and publishers' associations. Notable among the latter is a series of files relating the Association of Canadian Publishers, 1976-1984.

Fonds consists of questionnaires, correspondence, notes, photographs, and research files generated by James M. Pitsula pertaining to his book, 'An Act of Faith: The Early Years of Regina College', 1984-1986. Of particular interest are questionnaires completed by former Regina College students recording their memories of the institution, as well as correspondence with some alumni. The research files contain notes, copies of articles, newspaper clippings, and photocopies of archival documents housed at the University of Regina Archives, the Saskatchewan Archives Board, and elsewhere. Although the research occurred in 1984-1986, the time-span under study was 1911-1939, and the copied documents and photographs originate from that period. The photos are copy negatives of originals in the collection of the University of Regina Archives. Most, but not all, were used in the book

Of particular interest are Lobchuk's extensive personal and professional correspondence with artists, art galleries and arts organizations, and business records of the Grand Western Canadian Screen Shop which include correspondence, financial records and other documents relating to the establishment and operation of the shop. Also noteworthy are publications, articles, exhibition catalogues, invitations, posters, publicity materials, photographs, transparencies, and slides relating to Lobchuk's own work, and to products of the Screen Shop, as well as files documenting his involvement with various professional organizations.
