This series contains slides by L.G. Saunders. The slides have been organized into three separate groups according to the original method of storage and organization. This series contains a 30 cm x 29 cm 16 drawer slide cabinet, a 6 cm x 32 cm slide box and 33 plastic and cardboard slide boxes of various sizes. The slides cover a wide variety of topics and locations including: Great Britain; Europe; the Canadian West; the Far East; the United States; Central America; and the Caribbean. The bulk of the slides have been labelled by L.G.Saunders

This series contains two photograph albums. The first documents Saunders' participation in a private expedition to Brazil in 1923. Copies of these photographs are in the form of glass positive. The second documents Saunders' travels around the world, including Hong Kong, China, Malaya, Borneo, Ceylon, Egypt, Malta, France, Gibraltar and England, in 1932. The later album contains both positives and negatives (nitrate) which have been placed in their own file and folders. Both albums and the glass positives are well labelled
This collection contains research notes, diaries, and printed material dealing with entomology (in particular, the study of midges), bonsai, and the classification of birds. The photographic material includes subjects relating to Saunder's research; views from his extensive travels (including Egypt [1932]; Ceylon [1932]; Brazil [1923]; Hong Kong and the Far East [1932]; and North America, particularly Emma Lake [1939-1943].
