This series consists of photocopies of photographs of Emmet Heiter during his service with the Moose Jaw Fire Department and during his service with the 46th Battalion during WWI. Supplementary information by Bill and Dee Dee McCreary is included with the photographs. Also included are photographs that Bill and Dee Dee McCreary took on their visit to Moose Jaw in 1998.

This series includes letters written by Emmet Heiter to family members, from his family to Heiter, and letters from the Red Cross to Heiter’s family. Also included is a letter from Mrs. Maguerite Jackson to Canadian Veterans Affairs requesting a flag for Emmet Heiter’s funeral, along with the reply from Veterans Affairs.

Service Papers

This series includes the records relating to the service of Emmet Heiter in the Moose Jaw Fire Department, and his discharge papers from the infantry. It also includes a photocopy of his name in the 1912 Henderson’s DIrectory, and two poems.
