This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, reports, and publications regarding the administration and programs of the Institute. Included is material relating to: the Arctic Research Training Centre (ARTC); the academic journal Musk-Ox; the Association of Canadian Universities for Northern Studies; the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs; and published research by members of the Institute.

This collection contains correspondence, notes, reports, photos, maps, evidence and lists pertaining to Dr. Murray's activities on three royal commissions and as a judge of the Community Progress Competitions.

This fonds contains press releases issued by the department regarding a wide variety of University activities. Also included are: correspondence (1958-1972), news releases from Regina Campus (1968-1973); audio and video tapes of various campus events; and files related to general publicity and projects.

This fonds contains records generated outside Dr. Spinks' tenure as President of the University of Saskatchewan. The material deals with the Canada West Foundation, the Chemical Institute of Canada, nuclear energy, Gas and Oil Conservation Board, National Research Council (NRC), Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC), and education at the University of Saskatchewan.

This fonds contains a number of files concerning the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), including the activities and research projects of the Veterinary Infectious Diseases Organization (VIDO), the 1976 Study of Veterinary Manpower in Canada, computer assisted Animal Health Management, and the Preventive Medicine Committee: the latter two specifically concerning the establishment of a herd health data laboratory and disease control programs. In addition, there are several files related to Professor Nielsen's involvement with the Institute for Northern Studies (INS), the President's Advisory Council on Programs for People of Native Ancestry, game ranching in the north, and the Arctic Training Centre at Rankin Inlet. There is a considerable amount of material concerning the Environmental Advisory Council, and specifically, the Churchill River inquiry, Key Lake, the Environment 80 Report, and an uranium pollution control policy. It also contains some material concerning the establishment of a zoo at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm

Fonds includes personal correspondence and papers, as well as background and reference material assembled by John Diefenbaker
and his staff. There is also large collection of press clippings, supplemented by press clippings gathered by the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada.

This fonds contains material relating to all activities undertaken by the Extension Division. These records generally contain correspondence, minutes, reports, and memoranda; as well as publications and bulletins, and information on various provincial and national associations, societies, or clubs.

The Saskatchewan Homemaker's Clubs subseries contains: Saskatchewan Homemakers Life Membership Books (1940-1972); addresses to the Annual Convention (1933-1967); records from local Homemaker's Clubs; Cash Books; and correspondence, minutes, reports, financial statements, handbooks, press releases and publications relating to the activities of the Association. The Women's Institute subseries contains correspondence, reports, minutes, publications and other records (1971-1986). Included are submissions to the Institute's creative writing competition (1975-1981).

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, reports, and minutes, related to the administration and activities of the Association. Included are correspondence and reports from over fifty local horticultural societies in the province and copies of the Associations' newsletter (1950-1973).

This fonds contains statistics, correspondence, reports and administrative files dealing with the administration and activities of the unit. Much of the material relates to the museums, galleries and attractions on the University campus.
