This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, reports and other documents relating to Gingell's involvement in women's issues and gender studies at the U of S as well as addresses, published articles and reviews pertaining to her teaching and research activities.

This fonds documents Dr. Fedoroff's research, including his correspondence with colleagues in the international scientific community; and his organizational, executive, and membership roles in numerous professional associations. It provides documentation both of his highly regarded Tissue Culture Course as well as various international symposia to which he contributed. The University of Saskatchewan material includes files from both R. Altschul and J. Jackson, early heads of the department of anatomy, and includes background material and reports for various University studies in which Fedoroff participated.

This fonds contains considerable information pertaining to the militia and various aspects of the military in Canada, including Defence Medical Associations. Dr. Begg's academic career is also well documented, including publications, lectures, grant applications, material relating to cancer research, and promotions and committee work at the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, there is considerable material on the Medical Research Council, [Royal] University Hospital Board and the various societies and associations to which Dr. Begg belonged.

This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, photographs and printed material dealing primarily with the artistic career of Ruth Pawson. These slides represent a complete catalogue of Ruth Pawson's artwork, as well as images of friends' cabins and other locations where she liked to paint. Most of the slides were annotated; title, price, size, sales, some notes, and dates where provided have been listed here. Please note that the date on the slide may refer to the date of sale, and not the date the work was created. The slides arrived in a series of boxes, each of which was labelled with dates, and have been left in that order.

This fonds contains notes, clippings, articles and correspondence related to the research, writing and publication of the book Saskatchewan Heroes and Rogues. Material is organized by the name of the person profiled. Profiles include: Will James; Joan Bamford Fletcher; Jean Ewen; Gladys Arnold; Morris "Two Gun" Cohen; Richard St. Barbe Baker; Tom Hourie; Norman Falkner; Charlie Palmer; Father Claffey; Emma Woikin; and Kate Rice.

This fonds documents the friendships, civic and individual concerns, and personal involvement that together, help create and define a sense of community. It contains materials relating to Ruth Horlick's life, the experiences as varied as war and household that impacted upon her, and her extensive friendships. Additionally it documents her commitments to various organizations, including her work with psychiatric patients at Royal University Hospital and the McKerracher Centre, as well as her volunteer work with the Saskatoon Symphony and the Learning Disabilities Association.

The fonds contains personal ephemera including cards, sketches, art, and photographs, from the Russell/Walker/Hurley families. A number of Hurley’s letters and cards include sketches, pictograms, and “Hurleyniks”. The personal correspondence includes updates on personal achievements, activities and health concerns. Hurley’s failing eyesight is apparent in later letters.

This fonds contains Professor Altschul's personal papers, including the manuscripts of his two novels, "Trilemma" and "Vorgestern und Uebermorgern," various poems, stories, and articles, as well as personal correspondence, finances, and family memorabilia. It also contains his books "Arteriosclerosis" and "Endothelium," and three books by other authors. Many of the stories, articles, and correspondence refer to the sinking of the Athenia. This fonds also contains files relating to Professor Altschul's research activities, particularly in the fields of arteriosclerosis, endothelium, and niacin.

This fonds consists of material relating to Ridgway's military service, his scholarly research concerning the work of Voltaire and Chamfort particularly, his career with the University of Saskatchewan, and his work on internal university committees, professional associations, external agencies (such as Canadian University Service Overseas and the Saskatoon Symphony Board), as well as materials relating to his classes and lectures.

These records contain reports, correspondence, working papers, and published material regarding university operations forecasts, space planning, and capital replacement costs. There are specific reports on Fine Arts, health facilities funding options, and applied research.

This album contains over 360 autographs from prominent individuals of the time, including six Prime Ministers (all those who served between 1878-1911); eight Governors-General; 25 cabinet ministers; and over 100 members of parliament, predominantly those who served in the first 10 parliaments [first sitting date to dissolution] between 1867 and 1905. Other individuals of achievement and/or fame in various fields are also represented: scientists; public officials from other countries; diplomats; religious leaders; those in the performing arts. Uniquely, the album also contains several signatures from members of the Royal Family: extremely rare in an album of this kind.

Correspondence from British emigrants describing their lives in Canada and concern over the war. The collection includes letters, photographs, negatives, manuscript drawings, maps, greeting cards, news clippings, and one small watercolor.

This fonds represents an important resource of secondary material regarding the history, composition, use, proliferation, detection and disposal of chemical and biological weapons and the agencies responsible for their control.
