Written on the back in black ink: "Mrs. Shepherd Bosc. 185. Biggar Sask. 1915 Chauvin Alberta My Dear Sister & Brothers, I arrived safe & think I shall like alright when I get used to the place. Its not quite so large as Biggar buts its rather nice here. Give my love to all enquiring Friends & accept the same you. Your Affect Sister Lily Hope the children are being good." There is a red two cent Canada Post stamp and a postal stamp in black ink which reads "Chauvin Alta Jul 29 15".
