Scope and content

File contains photographs of helicopter pilot Jim Hamilton, and his helicopter, who finally returned to Prince Albert after being missing in the Northwest Territories for 36 days. Hamilton ran into bad weather upon leaving from Baker Lake NWT, and had to land. Realising that search planes would have little chance of finding him, he walked 21 miles to Ennadai Lake NWT, a remote weather station. Also pictured are members of Mr. Hamilton's family, his wife Trudy, mother Mrs. Nancy Hamilton, sons Ronald and David and daughter, Mrs. John Logan. Items 1 to 8 are SP-A's and items 9 and 10 are SP-B's.
