Northern Saskatchewan Archives
The mandate of the Archives is to provide a safe home for visual and print materials relating to northern Saskatchewan, to undertake the care and preservation of these materials,and to make them available to researchers and interested members of the public.
Department of Northern Saskatchewan collection from the 1970s, Saskatchewan Education, Northern Division materials (1980s-1990s), Aboriginal and Northern periodicals and newspapers, John Finch aviation materials, Elders Gatherings and Cultural Camps, Environmental Impact Reports, La Ronge Historical Society research files, Robert Tanner Island Falls 1950s materials, Gordon Koshinsky fisheries studies and reports, Mel Jamieson trapping photographs, Don Neilson 4H photographs, Lorne Terry's 1950s conservation officer materials, and teaching memorabilia from Julie Nagy and Jody Hanson.
Extent: Over 100,000 items, including about 90,000 photographs, 2,000 audio and video tapes, and 10,000 print materials

A 'Directory of Accessions, Collections, and Materials' is available at the Archives.
Monday-Friday, 8:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:00. The Archives is staffed by the Archival Historian on a part-time basis.
