Custodial history

The Office of the Treaty Commissioner (OTC) collection was created in 1989 by Treaty Commissioner Cliff Wright, but was housed at First Nations University of Canada (Saskatoon Campus) from 1996 to 2010. When First Nations University's Saskatoon Campus closed in 2010, the collection was returned to the OTC. Initially the collection was housed in a portable storage container, but Treaty Commissioner Mary Culbertson dedicated Library and Archives space in 2020 and the collection is currently housed in the OTC offices in Saskatoon, SK.
