Head and shoulders image of Dr. Robert Tokaryk, Department of Surgery, College of Medicine.

Bio/Historical Note: Dr. Robert Anthony Morris (Bob) Tokaryk was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, in 1944. He attended King George School and Prince Albert Collegiate Institute. He earned both a BSc in Biology and an MD in 1971. Dr. Tokaryk devoted his life to the practice of medicine, both in general practice with the Queen Street Medical group and as a solo practitioner in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Medical Arts Building. For many years Dr. Tokaryk served the province by holding monthly clinics in Prince Albert and Melfort. He was committed to teaching students, patients, residents, and loved serving his community. He was awarded an hoourary Doctor of Laws degree by the U of S in 1987. Dr. Tokaryk died on 16 September 2020 in Saskatoon.
