General note

The Brassey farm took over much of the Bell Farm after its demise. Lord Thomas Brassey, son of a British railway tycoon, Lord of the Admiralty and Governor of Victoria, Australia, funded the Canadian Co-operative Colonization Company, which divested the land to individual farmers. See Indian Head history book pp 63-66.
