Scope and content

From back of photo: "Fully loaded trucks like this one on the Montreal Lake road can be weighed automatically at speeds of up to 70 miles an hour as the wheels pass over the rectanular [rectagular?] surface of the scale invented by George Dyck (rick)". Mr. Dyck explains the scale's operation to the driver of the truck. Although the surface of this scale is visible under the front wheels, a similar unit has performed satisfactorily when paved over.
