Wally Foss was a field engineer in the employ of the City of Saskatoon in 1932, and was involved in the construction of the Broadway Bridge.

Roe Foster joined the staff of the Indian Head Experimental Farm as Research Officer in 1937 and then joined the RCAF in 1942. After the war, he was made Administrator of the Regina Sub-station until 1953, when he was promoted to the Director of the Indian Head Experimental Farm (1953-1972).
