McLean Bethel Pastoral Charge

McLean Bethel Pastoral Charge was initially created as a United Church mission field in 1925, part of Regina Presbytery. By 1926, it was listed as an aid-receiving pastoral charge, with additional points at Bethel and Davin. As of 1940, the charge only consisted of McLean, Bethel and Fairview, with Avonhurst added in 1951 or earlier. By 1962, McLean and Avonhurst were listed alongside Qu'Appelle and Edgeley, as part of Qu'Appelle Pastoral Charge.

On April 1, 1989, Edgeley and McLean formed separate pastoral charges (again). On June 30, 2000, McLean Bethel amalgamated with Balgonie Pastoral Charge to form Balgonie-McLean Pastoral Charge.

Meadow Lake Pastoral Charge

Meadow Lake Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing preaching points at Meadow Lake (Grace United Church), Pegasus and Bridge Creek. Dorintosh was later added and it eventually amalgamated with Grace United Church.

Melfort Pastoral Charge

Melfort Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing the preaching points at Melfort and Beatty. On July 1, 1995, the charge became part of a new Melfort-Ethelton Pastoral Charge, after the division of the former Kinistino-Ethelton Pastoral Charge (other points became part of Birch Hills - Kinistino Pastoral Charge). Ethelton United Church closed November 15, 2011.

Melville Pastoral Charge

Melville Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing First United Church, in Melville. This congregation is generally considered the first Local Union formed in Canada, dating back to 1908 and coinciding with the Basis of Union, which eventually lead to the creation of the United Church of Canada. Original members included Methodists, Baptists, Congregationalists, and Presbyterians.

Milestone Pastoral Charge

Milestone Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Weyburn Presbytery, consisting of the Milestone preaching appointment. Between 1951 and 1958, the charge joined with Lang Pastoral Charge to create the joint Lang-Milestone Pastoral Charge. Between 1974 and ca.1986, appointments included Parry, as well as Lang and Milestone.

On January 1, 2013, the joint charge amalgamated with Rouleau-Wilcox Pastoral Charge to create the new Soo Line Pastoral Charge.

Moose Jaw Grandview Pastoral Charge was formed after the dissolution of the joint Moose Jaw Trinity-Grandview Pastoral Charge, in June 2001. The charge officially closed on June 30, 2012.

Moose Jaw Trinity Pastoral Charge

Moose Jaw Trinity Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, from what had previously been the Moose Jaw Wesley Methodist Circuit. Around 1960, Grandview United Church joined the charge, which was renamed Trinity-Grandview Pastoral Charge. On June 30, 2001, the joint-charge was officially dissolved and the congregations formed separate charges, including the re-formed Trinity Pastoral Charge.

Moosomin Pastoral Charge

Moosomin Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing preaching points at Moosomin (Bethel United Church) and Orangeville, which was soon after reassigned to Wapella Pastoral Charge. Additional points included: Fleming (until closure, January 1, 1985).

Prior to Union, there had been Methodist and Presbyterian congregations in the area. The churches amalgamated in 1925, in what had been previously the Moosomin Methodist Church (built in 1889, dedicated 1890), and the Presbyterian St. Andrew's Church building (dedicated 1903, located on the site of an earlier Presbyterian Church, built 1884) was sold soon after.

Mortlach Pastoral Charge

Mortlach Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Moose Jaw Presbytery and containing Mortlach, Zion [Parkbeg?] and Dobson appointments. Later preaching points included: Mortlach United Church; Zion United Church, Parkbeg; and St. Andrew's United Church, Caron (until it closed, September 1, 1991).

Neville Pastoral Charge

Neville Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925. Preaching points included Neville, Daybreak and Titanic (ca.1941), and later Minot and Mosquito Creek. Around 1942, the charge joined with Vanguard to create the new Neville-Vanguard Pastoral Charge. Vanguard was eventually closed, June 30, 2008 (while part of New Venture Pastoral Charge).
