Regina Metropolitan Pastoral Charge

Regina Metropolitan Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing the preaching point Metropolitan United Church, formerly Metropolitan Methodist Church.

In 1951, Knox United Church amalgamated with Metropolitan United Church, to become Knox-Metropolitan United Church (and Pastoral Charge), located on the site of the former Metropolitan United Church, at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Lorne Street.

Regina Rosemont Pastoral Charge

Regina Rosemont Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, from what had previously been a Methodist field. Around 1932, Rosemont United was listed as part of Regina Chalmers Pastoral Charge (with St. James and Chalmers United) but it was re-established as a separate charge by 1936, containing Rosemont, Estlin, St. James and Wascana United Churches. Other points were moved around the 1940s and Rosemont formed a joint-charge with Wascana, ca.1951 until about 1953, when they returned to separate charges. On September 30, 2012, Rosemont Pastoral Charge closed.

Regina St. Andrew's Pastoral Charge

Regina St. Andrew's Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, from what had previously been a Presbyterian field. On June 30, 2014, the church was closed and the congregation amalgamated with Knox-Metropolitan.

Regina St. James Pastoral Charge

Regina St. James Pastoral Charge was formed as the new United Church Regina North charge in 1925, from what had previously been the Presbyterian North Regina Condie Mission Field. The church was listed as part of Regina Chalmers Pastoral Charge, ca.1932, and later part of Regina Rosemont Pastoral Charge, ca.1936 through the early 1940s. By 1946, Regina North Pastoral Charge was re-established (but listed as vacant).

Regina St. John's Pastoral Charge

Regina St. John's Pastoral Charge was formed around 1954, part of Regina Presbytery and containing the new St. John's United Church, built at McTavish Street and Fourth Avenue, Regina. The decision to have a new building had resulted from a presbytery Church Extension Committee survey (ca.1951) that determined the district of the city required facilities not available at the existing Sixth Street United Church. The first service in the new St. John's United Church was held November 14, 1954. The pastoral charge closed June 30, 1999.

Regina Wascana Pastoral Charge

Regina Wascana Pastoral Charge was formed around 1932 (listed as vacant) but by 1936, the church was part of Regina Rosemont Pastoral Charge. Regina Wascana Pastoral Charge appears to have been re-formed as a joint charge with Rosemont, ca.1951, then as a separate charge, by 1953. Around 1970, preaching points were listed as Grand Coulee and Sherwood. Grand Coulee moved back into its own Pastoral Charge around 1973 but Sherwood remained until it closed, June 30, 1990. Wascana Pastoral Charge itself closed on September 30, 1996.

Regina Westminster Pastoral Charge

Regina Westminster Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, including Westminster United Church, itself an amalgamation of Westminster Presbyterian Church (at 3025 - 13th Avenue) and the nearby Fourteenth Avenue Methodist Church (in a temporary building on the southwest corner of 14th Avenue and Retallack Street). These congregations had originated from outreach efforts by the downtown Knox Presbyterian Church and Metropolitan Methodist Church and, in May 1925, they had combined their congregations, in the formerly Presbyterian building.

Regina Zion Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing Zion United Church, in Regina. Around 1932, Zion was listed as part of Regina Westminster Pastoral Charge but the points later re-formed into separate charges. Regina Zion Pastoral Charge officially closed on June 30, 2015.

Richardson Pastoral Charge

Richardson Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, as part of Regina Presbytery. Initially, the charge included preaching points at Richardson, Estlin and Kronau. (Estlin would later move to Riceton Pastoral Charge, before closing in 1989.) By 1951, Richardson had become part of Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge, alongside points at Grand Coulee and Sherwood. Around 1968, Drinkwater, Pense, Stoney Beach, Grand Coulee, Sherwood, and Richardson joined together to form the new Pense - Grand Coulee Pastoral Charge.

By the 1980s, Richardson Pastoral Charge had been re-established. The charge continued until April 23, 1983, when it was disbanded.
