Foam Lake Pastoral Charge

Foam Lake was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Yorkton Presbytery and consisting of preaching points at Foam Lake, Ashdown, Kelvin Grove, Malby, and Lakeview. Tuffnell was added, ca.1926. By 1932, only Kelvingrove, Lake Side, Tuffnell and Foam Lake remained. As of 1951, the charge was made up of Foam Lake, Bertdale, Mt. Hecla, Tuffnell, and Kelvin Grove. By 1962, Foam Lake Pastoral Charge contained only Foam Lake and Leslie, and it was eventually renamed Foam Lake - Leslie Pastoral Charge. The point at Leslie closed June 30, 2006.

Fort Qu'Appelle Pastoral Charge

Fort Qu'Appelle Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Abernethy Presbytery and consisting of preaching points at Fort Qu'Appelle (St. Andrew's United Church), Springbok and Sanitarium. As of 1932, the charge included Wideawake and was (briefly) listed as Fort Qu'Appelle - Sanitorium Pastoral Charge. As of 1936, preaching appointments had shifted to consist of Fort Qu'Appelle, Hughesvale, Fort San and Wide Awake. Lipton was added in the late 1940s and, by 1951, the charge was made up of Fort Qu'Appelle, Fort San and Springvale appointments. As of 1962, only Fort Qu'Appelle and Lipton were listed as part of the charge.

Grenfell Pastoral Charge

Grenfell Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Qu'Appelle Presbytery. By 1951, the charge consisted of preaching points at Grenfell, Kirkfield, Rillington, Tetlock, and Weldon. As of 1962, the charge only contained Grenfell and Summerberry. The preaching point at Summerberry closed December 31, 1984.

Hudson Bay Larger Parish

Hudson Bay Larger Parish appears to have been created as aid-receiving (Hudson Bay Jct.) Pastoral Charge, around 1932, part of Prince Albert Presbytery and consisting of appointments at Hudson Bay, Doncrest, Erwood, Etiomami, Meek's Siding, and Reserve Jct -- the latter 3 were no longer listed in 1936. Points at Frederick's Mills, Greenway, Neely Lake, and Somme were added by 1936, but only Hudson Bay, Forty-Four, Greenaway and Somme were still in the charge by 1940.

As of 1951, the charge consisted of Hudson Bay, Greenaway, Spruceville, and Moose Haven. Later preaching points include: Peesane (ca.1962); Clemenceau (1966-1968?); St. Stephen's, in Hudson Bay; Arpad, in Mistatim; and Robert Hall Mission, in Prairie River.

Imperial Pastoral Charge

Imperial Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Regina Presbytery. As of 1932, the charge consisted of Imperial, Bermuda, Cullyton, and Stalwart. Davenport joined it by 1936, Indian Hill and Lake City by 1940. In 1957, Imperial amalgamated with Simpson to form Simpson-Imperial Pastoral Charge, in Saskatoon Presbytery. As of 1962, the charge included Imperial, Simpson and Stalwart (the latter was not listed from 1964).

Around 1970, the charge moved back to Regina Presbytery, with preaching points listed as Imperial, Simpson, and Liberty (previously part of Liberty Pastoral Charge, alongside Holdfast and Penzance). The name returned to Imperial Pastoral Charge ca.1971 and it later moved to Moose Jaw Presbytery. By 1994, preaching points were listed as: St. Andrew's United Church, in Imperial; Bethel United Church, in Liberty; and St. John's United Church, in Simpson. Bethel United (Liberty) closed June 30, 2007 and St. John's (Simpson) closed June 30, 2013.

Indian Head Pastoral Charge

Indian Head Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Qu'Appelle Presbytery. In addition to St. Andrew's United Church (Indian Head), preaching appointments later included Sunny Slope (in the 1930s) and Hope (ca.1940).

Ituna Pastoral Charge

Hubbard Mission Field was formed as a new United Church field in 1925, as part of Abernethy Presbytery and consisting of Hubbard, Ituna, Wyber and Tullymeet appointments. In 1926, it was listed as an aid-receiving pastoral charge. As of 1951, Hubbard Pastoral Charge was being served by a student minister and consisted of Bon Accord, Hubbard, Ituna, and Wyber. Around the mid-1950s, it was renamed Ituna Pastoral Charge, part of Yorkton Presbytery, before it joined Kelliher Pastoral Charge, ca.1960. (The charge would be re-named Kelliher-Ituna Pastoral Charge by the 1990s.)

Ituna Pastoral Charge was re-established, on February 26, 2000, after Kelliher-Ituna Pastoral Charge was dissolved. (Kelliher also formed a separate charge, alongside Ituna.)

Kelliher Pastoral Charge

Kelliher Mission Field was formed as a new United Church field in 1925, as part of Abernethy Presbytery and consisting of Kelliher, Leross, Eskdale and Eastward. In 1926, it was listed as an aid-receiving pastoral charge, with the addition of the New Haven appointment. As of 1951, Kelliher Pastoral Charge consisted of Eskdale, Garnock, Kelliher, and Lestock. By 1958, the charge was part of Yorkton Presbytery. As of 1962, preaching points included Holy Trinity (Leross), Ituna, John Wesley, Lestock, and Wishart -- by 1969, John Wesley and Lestock had left the charge. Holy Trinity (Leross) closed in 1982. Wishart closed January 1, 1992.

By the early 1990s, the Kelliher Pastoral Charge had been renamed Kelliher-Ituna Pastoral Charge. The combined charge officially closed on February 26, 2000, and the separate Kelliher Pastoral Charge and Ituna Pastoral Charge were formed (again).

Kerrobert Pastoral Charge

Kerrobert Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Kindersley Presbytery. The Oakwood appointment was added ca. 1926. By 1951, the charge consisted of Kerrobert and Broadacres. Around the 1970s, Kerrobert joined with Luseland (St. John's United Church) and Major, to form Kerrobert-Luseland-Major Pastoral Charge (a.k.a. KLM Pastoral Charge). After the closure of Major, January 1, 1998, the charge was re-named Rolling Plains Pastoral Charge. The combined charge closed August 4, 2006, with Kerrobert and Luseland (again) forming separate charges.

Kinistino Pastoral Charge

Kinistino Pastoral Charge was formed as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Prince Albert Presbytery and consisting of preaching point at Kinistino (St. Andrew's United Church), as well as Weldon, Gowanbrae and Nordin. By the early 1990s, Ethelton had been added to the charge, which was re-named Kinistino-Ethelton Pastoral Charge. As of July 1, 1995, Kinistino-Ethelton was split up, into Birch Hills - Kinistino Pastoral Charge and Melfort-Ethelton Pastoral Charge. On May 31, 2011, Birch Hills - Crystal Springs - Kinistino Pastoral Charge was dissolved and the points (re)formed the separate Kinistino Pastoral Charge, Birch Hills Pastoral Charge and Crystal Springs Pastoral Charge.

Kyle-Lacadena Pastoral Charge

Kyle-Lacadena Pastoral Charge was formed around 1966, from a combination of Lacadena, Kyle and additional preaching points at White Bear and Sanctuary. The previous Lacadena Pastoral Charge had been formed between 1926 and 1951 (part of Rosetown Presbytery), with additional preaching points at White Bear and Tyner. The preaching point at Kyle was also formed in that period and was part of Tuberose Pastoral Charge (in Rosetown Presbytery), alongside points at Tuberose and Sanctuary, supplied by Elrose and Lacadena. Kyle Pastoral Charge was established around 1959, with an additional preaching point at Sanctuary.

Lacadena closed June 30, 2011.

Lashburn Pastoral Charge was created as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Battleford Presbytery, with appointments at Lashburn (St. James United Church), Battlevale and Tyrone. As of 1951, the charge consisted of Lashburn, Marshall, Tyrone and Waseca. Lone Rock was also added sometime before 1962. Waseca closed September 1, 1989, and both Hillmond and Marshall closed February 1990. Lone Rock also eventually closed, June 30, 2016.

Dubuc Pastoral Charge was created as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Abernethy Presbytery, with appointments at Dubuc, Stockholm and Grayson. By 1951, the name was changed to Dubuc-Stockholm Pastoral Charge, as part of Yorkton Presbytery. In the mid-1950s, the charge joined with Waldron Pastoral Charge to form Dubuc-Waldron Pastoral Charge, containing preaching points Dubuc, Stockholm, Waldron, Bangor, Llewelyn and Atwater. (Atwater had been part of Esterhazy Pastoral Charge in 1925, and then later Waldron Pastoral Charge, ca.1951, alongside Bangor and Llewelyn.) Around the 1970s, the charge was renamed Cutarm Pastoral Charge, then later Little Cutarm Pastoral Charge, with preaching points Atwater (St. Andrew's United Church), Dubuc, Llewelyn (Bethel United Church) and Stockholm. On June 30, 2005, Dubuc, Llewelyn, and Stockholm were all closed.

Maidstone-Paynton Pastoral Charge

Maidstone Pastoral Charge was created as a United Church augmented charge in 1925, part of Battleford Presbytery. By 1951, the charge consisted of Maidstone, Bresayler, Keyworth and Paynton (Knox), but later (as of 1962) Bresayler and Keyworth were replaced by McLaren. Sometime in the early-1980s, the charge was re-named Maidstone-Paynton Pastoral Charge. The preaching point at Paynton closed on October 17, 1999.
