Saskatoon Second Street Pastoral Charge

Saskatoon Second Street Pastoral Charge was formed sometime between 1925 and 1940, primarily consisting of the Second Street United Church, in Saskatoon. As of 1940, it was listed as an aid-receiving charge, with a student minister and additional preaching point at Langham. By 1951, Second Street was part of Sutherland Pastoral Charge, alongside points at Sutherland and Cory. In the mid-1950s, Second Street Pastoral Charge was re-established.

In later years, the charge also served other preaching points, including Moose Woods Mission. Second Street Pastoral Charge officially closed June 30, 2006.

Prince Albert Nisbet Pastoral Charge

Prince Albert Nisbet Pastoral Charge was created ca.1960, containing Nisbet Memorial United Church (Prince Albert). Later preaching points included Faith United Church (Spruce Home), Steep Creek and Colleston. The charge officially closed on June 30, 2001.

Swift Current First Pastoral Charge

Swift Current Pastoral Charge was formed after the union of Knox United Church and Metropolitan United Church, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, in 1943. Prior to 1925, Knox had been a Presbyterian field and Metropolitan a Methodist field. After the founding of Grace United Church nearby, the earlier Swift Current church was renamed (by popular vote) to become First United Church, ca.1958. Pastoral charges similarly adopted the new names of these churches. On February 14, 1987, Rush Lake – Burnam – Neidpath Pastoral Charge (Cypress Hills Presbytery) was amalgamated into Swift Current First Pastoral Charge.

Perdue Pastoral Charge

Perdue Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Saskatoon Presbytery and containing preaching points at Perdue and Hope Hall. By 1932, the charge had become Perdue-Leney Pastoral Charge, with additional points at Hope Hall, Keppel, and Tweedyside. As of 1962, preaching points were listed as Perdue, Hope Hall, Kinley and Leney. In 1981, Arelee joined Perdue (from Asquith Pastoral Charge); it later closed July 1, 1984. On July 1, 1999, the charge amalgamated with Asquith to become Asquith-Perdue Pastoral Charge.

Grace-Westminster Pastoral Charge was formed ca.1968, after the merger of Grace and Westminster United Churches, to form Grace-Westminster United Church, in Saskatoon.

Colonsay Pastoral Charge

Viscount Pastoral Charge was created as a United Church charge in 1925, part of Saskatoon Presbytery and containing Viscount, Meachum and Kildrum appointments. By 1951, Brithdir and Plunkett had also joined the charge. In the mid-1950s, the charge amalgamated with Elstow Pastoral Charge to form Elstow-Viscount Pastoral Charge (containing Colonsay, Elstow, Viscount and Plunkett, as of 1962). Around 1967, the combined charge was renamed Viscount Pastoral Charge and by 1968, Elstow was no longer listed in it.

Viscount and Plunkett closed on June 30, 1998. The Charge was re-named Colonsay Pastoral Charge, January 1, 2005.

Saskatoon St. David's-Trinity Pastoral Charge

Saskatoon St. David's Pastoral Charge was formed between 1925 and 1951, as part of Saskatoon Presbytery. By the mid-1950s, the name had changed to St. David's-Cory Pastoral Charge and, as of 1962, it included preaching points at St. David's, Trinity, and St. Andrew's-Corey. Around 1967, the name returned to St. David's Pastoral Charge and it contained only St. David's and Trinity. Sometime between 1970 and 1984, the name was changed to St. David's-Trinity Pastoral Charge. On July 1, 2008, the two churches amalgamated, at the Trinity location, under the name St. David's-Trinity United Church.

Saskatoon Third Avenue Pastoral Charge

Saskatoon Third Avenue Pastoral Charge was formed as as a new United Church charge in 1925, under Saskatoon Presbytery. It closed June 30, 2018.

Wakaw Pastoral Charge

Wakaw Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Prince Albert Presbytery and consisting of preaching points at Wakaw and Domremy. By 1951, it had moved to Saskatoon Presbytery but before 1958, it had returned to Prince Albert Presbytery. By 1962 St. Benedict and Prud'homme had joined the charge, while Domremy had left. Around the 1970s, the charge combined with Aberdeen and Rosthern St. Andrew's to form TRI Pastoral Charge (Saskatoon Presbytery). TRI Pastoral charge was divided again July 1, 1994, and the separate Wakaw Pastoral Charge was re-established.

Wolseley Pastoral Charge

Wolseley Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925. Preaching points in the charge included St. James United Church (Wolseley) and Westfield. Sometime before 1960, the charge amalgamated with Sintaluta, forming the Wolseley-Sintaluta Pastoral Charge. The name reverted back to Wolseley Pastoral Charge on June 30, 2002, when the preaching point at Sintaluta was formally closed.

Woodrow Pastoral Charge

Woodrow Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, containing preaching points at Woodrow and Sunbeam. By 1962, it consisted of Woodrow, Glenbain, Kincaid, and Meyronne. The charge dissolved ca.1969 and the Woodrow preaching point became joined Lafleche Pastoral Charge.

Alameda Pastoral Charge

Alameda Pastoral Charge was formed as a new United Church charge in 1925, part of Estevan Presbytery and containing preaching points at Alameda, Douglaston and Dalesboro. In the 1950s, Alameda amalgamated with Frobisher to form Alameda-Frobisher Pastoral Charge, with preaching points at Alameda, Dalesboro, Frobisher, and Out-of-Sight. After the closure of the Frobisher preaching point, the charge returned to the name Alameda Pastoral Charge, August 29, 2007.
