Horace Dougald Beach was born on 12 March 1919 near Ernfold, Saskatchewan, and attended the University of Saskatchewan for two years prior to joining the Canadian armed forces. Following the war, he spent one year at the University of Edinburgh before returning to Canada and resuming his studies at the University of Saskatchewan. He was a Rhodes scholar. He worked in Newfoundland; and was director of counseling centers at Dalhousie University and later, at the University of Victoria. He died in Saskatoon on 2 October 2008.

Daughter of A.F. Kenderdine. She married Oswald Beamish.

Ada Bedard (nee Elliot) was born 1923 to George Elliot and Frances ("Sis") Mary Elliot (nee Ambler) in Pathlow, Saskatchewan. She attended public and high school in Pathlow. After graduation, Ada took teachers training at Regina Normal School. In July of 1944, she married Joshua ("Joby") Bedard, with whom she had three children: Brian (1947), Gerald (1949), and Jean Anne (1954). Joby was born 1913 in Marcelin, Saskatchewan. He attended school at Carmel, Saskatchewan and St. Brieux, Saskatchewan, and completed his education at the Harrisville School. He farmed until 1943, when he joined the RCAF. He resumed farming after being discharged. Joby served as councillor for Division 3 of the R.M. of Flett's Springs for 26 years, was a municipal representative on the Melfort Union Hospital Board for 19 years, served on the St. Breux Credit Union board for 19 years, and is a charter member of the Pathlow Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion #344. Ada is also a member of the Pathlow Legion Auxiliary.

Toni (Antoine) Bedard was born to Joseph Bedard and Anna Bedard (nee Mikelash). He received his primary schooling at the Harriville school and attended high school in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan. Toni worked at the family farm until he joined the RCAF. He later farmed NW 13-43-21. Toni married Jeannette Bedard (nee Blouin) in 1943. The two had three children: Richard (1945), Edward (1949), and Gerard (1960).

Dorothy Williamina Bee was born in Lemberg, Saskatchewan on November 1, 1910 and moved with her family to Regina when she was twelve. She began teaching piano when she was sixteen. In 1946 she became a faculty member of the Regina Conservatory of Music, and she also taught at the University of Regina Department of Music for thirty years prior to her retirement in 1979, when she was named Professor Emeritus. She continued giving piano lessons in Regina until her death on September 20, 1986. During her musical career Dorothy Bee studied with William M. Buckley (1928-1931), Lyell Gustin (1936), Rosalyn Tureck (1940), Max Parani (1944-1948), Victor Babin (1960), and Andr Previn (1970, 1971). She also played string bass in the Regina Symphony Orchestra, 1943-1971. Miss Bee was active in promoting music in Western Canada and she pioneered workshops to help rural piano teachers upgrade their skills. She was a life member of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers Association, and served several terms as president of the organization. She was an examiner for the Western Board of Music and a well known music festival supporter and adjudicator. She served as chair of the Western Board's Syllabus Committee, 1968-1974, and was co-editor with Gordon Wallis of 'Explorations' (Leeds, 1969), three volumes of piano studies designed to resolve specific technical problems. She was editor-in-chief of eight graded volumes of piano repertoire (Leeds, 1976).
