Buyniak during his career at the University of Saskatchewan. Though the material covers a broad spectrum of topics over several decades, the bulk of the material deals with aspects of Slavic language and culture.

This fonds also contains files relating to Professor Altschul's research activities, particularly in the fields of arteriosclerosis, endothelium, and niacin.

The fonds consists primarily of material relating to Bietenholz's research and writing. In particular, the fonds includes copies of some of his own publications, offprints by others, files (notes, photocopies, etc.) relating to some of his books and papers, offprints and research material relating to Erasmus, and correspondence relating to publishing and research activities, including visits to African and Asian universities.

This fonds contains correspondence, reports, addresses, minutes, and research material relating to Thorvaldson's academic interests and work as a consultant, his involvement with various national scientific organizations, and with the University of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Lacalli's research involves the embryology and larval forms of marine invertebrates: principally, the development of the nervous system and the formation pattern in these organisms. His work has included theoretical, computer-based studies of how pattern and formation appear de novo in embryos as they develop, and microanatomical studies (primarily, via serial electron microscopy) of the developing nervous system in simple invertebrates near the evolutionary stem from which vertebrates, with their advanced nervous system, evolved. The process developed by Lacalli enabled an image of the whole body of their specimens in one micrograph, a relatively rare achievement and one which enabled him to analyse the nervous system in far more detail than was previously possible. This fonds contains an extensive collection of the electron micrographs taken by Lacalli, together with research notes, offprints, and other documentation relating to his research activities

This fonds contains addresses, correspondence, lecture notes, abstracts and clippings on various areas of agricultural chemistry, including food processing, food production, and nutrition. Additionally, it contains material on industrial and engineering chemistry; administrative material from the department of chemistry; and files on the Board of Grain Commissions, Saskatchewan Co-op Wheat Producers, and Junior Grain Club.

The material in this fonds relates to Denham's career as a Professor of English, as well as a significant amount relating to his association with "NeWest Review" from 1983 to 1999. Denham served primarily as literary review editor for NeWest (the book review section was one of the more popular features of the magazine) and more generally as a member of the editorial board. The fonds contains materials collected and/or created by other NeWest editors, including Margaret Gail Osachoff (theatre reviews), Lewis Horne (fiction reviews), Jim Miller, Bill Waiser, and David Carpenter.

The fonds consists of synopses of lectures about Australian literature prepared by critic and poet Tom Inglis Moore. The notes were obtained by Scott in 1954-55 when he took Tom Inglis Moore's course in literature at the Canberra University College, Australia (now part of the Australian National University). Tom Inglis Moore pioneered the study of Australian literature as a subject, and 1954-55 was the first year any Australian university or college offered such a course.
