VII. Photograph Albums

This series contains two photograph albums. The first documents Saunders' participation in a private expedition to Brazil in 1923. Copies of these photographs are in the form of glass positive. The second documents Saunders' travels around the world, including Hong Kong, China, Malaya, Borneo, Ceylon, Egypt, Malta, France, Gibraltar and England, in 1932. The later album contains both positives and negatives (nitrate) which have been placed in their own file and folders. Both albums and the glass positives are well labelled

VII. Reference Series, 1957-1967

This series contains reference material collected by Diefenbaker and his office staff while Prime Minister and during his second term as Leader of the Opposition. It includes correspondence, reports, speech notes, press clippings, and some published material.

This series consists of correspondence, minutes, reports, financial and employment documents, performance proposals, resumes and biographical sketches, records relating to property management and other societies and organizations, publicity materials, etc.

This series contains photographs by L.G. Saunders. They cover a wide variety of topics and locations. Photographs were found in a random order and organization has been imposed

VIII. Prime Minister's Office Unnumbered Correspondence Series

This series contains John Diefenbaker’s correspondence while Prime Minister, both incoming and outgoing, which was filed by his office staff. Together with the correspondence in MG 01/VI PMO Numbered Correspondence, it comprises the whole of Diefenbaker’s correspondence during the period, excluding that with his family. It contains correspondence with members of his cabinet, the Civil Service, other politicians, foreign leaders, personal friends and advisors, and the general public, all arranged in the same series of subject files. The topics covered include almost all the political and social questions of the period.

VIII. Third Commonwealth Education Conference

This series consists of records related to the Canadian delegations involvement in the Conference, and includes instructions for the delegation on conference items, correspondence, press releases, agendas, documents distributed to delegates, etc.
