Inscription on front reads: "Departure of 188th Btl. from Armory, June 6, 1916, Prince Albert, Sask." John Diefenbaker's inscription on back reads "Lt. Col. Sam Donaldson's Battalion--From Mrs. Wapain 7207 Arcola St., Burnaby BC, Jan 29/68."
