Doris Hasell fonds

This fonds consists primarily of materials relating to Dr. Hasell's research, writing, and teaching. It includes Dr. Gordon Snelgrove's teaching copy of "Art Through the Ages," Ukrainian embroidery samples originally collected by the Saskatoon Arts and Crafts Society, research papers, and 1,012 slides relating to art history and furniture design.

Fiji Robinson fonds

This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used by Margaret (Fiji) Robinson in her career as a vocalist and performer in the musical revues The Quinlan Sisters (comprised of Robinson, Peter McGehee and Wendy Coad) between 1981 and 1984, and The Fabulous Sirs (Robinson and McGehee) between 1987 and 1990 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Toronto, Ontario.

The second accrual fonds consists of records pertaining to the maternal and paternal genealogy of Margaret (Fiji) Robinson; the Stuart and Robinson families, as well as material relating to Fiji’s career.
It also includes records created, accumulated and used by Robinson between 1990 and 2007 in the development of a book proposal and subsequent film proposal on her career as a performance artist working with writer/director Peter McGehee. Research and notes for the online GLBTQ On-Line Encyclopedia entry for McGehee's life partner, human rights activist Douglas Wilson, are also included.

It also includes records created, accumulated and used by Robinson in 2008 and 2009 in the course of producing Painted on the Spot: On the Road with Ernie Luthi, a documentary about Ernest Luthi (1906-1983), an artist from Punnichy, Saskatchewan.

The types of records included are research notes, drafts of written works, clippings, programmes, posters, song lyrics, music scores, photographs, budgets, grant applications, curricula vitae, drawings, photocopies of correspondence to Ernest Luthi, a CD-ROM and an audio cassette recording of The Fabulous Sirs in concert at the 1988 Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival.

The fonds includes material documenting William Deverell’s career primarily as a writer and a lawyer. Among other material, included are research and drafts relating to most of his books and screenplays; other writing; documents re court cases, particularly those used as background for books and screenplays (including the CBC series Scales of Justice); records relating to The Writers Union of Canada; material relating to early activities including newspaper articles written by Deverell and clippings etc. relating to his election campaigns and trials he was involved in; videocassettes of his films Shellgame and Mindfield; correspondence with agents, publishers, producers, fans, etc., and other records relating to the publication and promotion of his books and films; and professional and personal correspondence with Carol Shields, Marian Engel, Margaret Atwood, Susan Musgrave, Stephen Reid and others.

Wilfred McKay fonds

This fonds contains correspondence between Wilfred McKay and family members during his deployment to Europe in World War II with the Saskatoon Light Infantry. In these letters, McKay describes: his deployment journey; details of the daily life of a soldier at training and in battle in England, Spitzbergen (“Operation Gauntlet”) in Norway, and Italy; observations on local culture and cuisine, flora and fauna; his various duties, promotions and positions; personal relationships; family updates; comedic poems and anecdotes; marriage announcement from Holland; post war duty in Holland to sell Canadian vehicles. One letter is from 1944 is from Wilfred’s brother “Mac” Thomas McKay to brother “Cap” Charles Angus Percival McKay. This fonds includes correspondence with colleagues, including letters, faxes, and e-mails written and received from the 1960s through to the present (2023) that cover research developments in the field of Canadian archaeology, both provincially and nationally. Pertains to Dr. Meyer’s time as a student, at the Saskatchewan Research Council, and in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Saskatchewan and involvement with the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society. Any mention of photographs, papers, articles, maps etc. in the correspondence were not included in the donation and are therefore absent from the files, except where specifically noted.

Houston's teaching, research and scholarly pursuits. The extensive research files primarily relate to: congenital dislocation of the hip in native people; anti-smoking activities; and the history of radiology in Saskatchewan and Canada. Drafts, files and correspondence document the preparation of publications on the Franklin Expeditions, T.A. Patrick, and R.G. Ferguson. Administrative records relate to Dr. Houston's position as Head of Medical Imaging.

This fonds contains materials created or received by the offices of VP (Special Projects) and VP (Planning and Development), including materials relating to information technology, budget preparation in response to the funding cutbacks of the 1980s; initiatives in biotechnology, toxicology, and native studies; major program reviews including the Colleges of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Home Economics; and the Issues and Options project. Additionally, this fonds contains some documentation relating to Holmlund's tenure as Acting President in 1989 including briefing notes for incoming president JWG Ivany; and to Holmlund's work on the boards of Ag-West Biotech, the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, etc. Publications and addresses from the whole of Holmlund's career are also included; these relate to his prior work in biomedical engineering, computing services, USG, etc. as well as to his senior administrative duties.
