Acts and Proceedings of the Presbyterian Church in Canada

Contains [published volumes] "Acts and Proceedings ...of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, for the years 1897 and 1901 through 1925, which include proceedings of the General Assembly, reports of various church bodies, statistical information and the Rolls of Synods and Presbyteries which provide the names of ministers and elders for congregations.

A minute excerpted from the Acts and Proceedings of the Forty-second General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, concerning the establishment of the United Church of Canada (1916) and a copy of part of the report of the Committee on Union (1916).

Cunningham vs. Pidgeon [1924]

Statement of Claim in John D. Cunningham et al. versus George C. Pidgeon et al., in the Supreme Court of Canada, and "Spiritual Independence of the Church: Sir Robert Falconer - on Questions Raised by Paragraph 26 of Statement of Claim", which was concerned with the competency of a majority of individual members of the Presbyterian Church to authorize union with another church or to alienate property of the Church.
