Statement of Claim in John D. Cunningham et al. versus George C. Pidgeon et al., in the Supreme Court of Canada, and "Spiritual Independence of the Church: Sir Robert Falconer - on Questions Raised by Paragraph 26 of Statement of Claim", which was concerned with the competency of a majority of individual members of the Presbyterian Church to authorize union with another church or to alienate property of the Church.

Two mimeographed copies of document "Is There Not A Way Out?" by D.R. Drummond (April 5, 1923), one with changes and annotations written on it. Much of this mimeographed version appears to have been used in the publication of the same name, listed in A.381.IV.C.7.

Consists of publications of the Presbyterian Church Association, which was a group of clergy and laymen opposed to the organic union of the Presbyterian Church with other churches. Series also includes materials published by other individuals, groups, or churches who were opposed to union (though some of the individuals may have been members of the Association). Publications other than those of the Association have been listed separately and the author and publisher identified where possible.

The collection consists of primarily textual items, published by the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Contents include published Acts and Proceedings (with minutes of the General Assembly, reports, etc.), materials related to the Committee on Church Union and the Presbyterian Church Association, as well as a range of other documents and publications about Church Union, especially the Presbyterian debates on that topic.
