Five men stand outside Thomas Sulland's Livery Feed and Sale Stable with six horses in winter. Three more men stand inside the stable. Located on the south side of 1st Avenue.

The Wheatbelt Motel at 805 Highway 4 N was built in 1949 by Henry Evans. E. McCauley sold it to the Evangel Temple in 1993. It was demolished in 2008.

Crown Lumber, located at 111-113 Railway Avenue West, was in operation until 1970.
