William George King 1878-1974

"Billie" King was the first Overseer of the Village of Rosetown 1909-10. He was a member of the first Town of Rosetown council in 1912 and served another term in 1920-21. He was a well-known and successful businessman (King's Store) and a pioneer farmer. He died in 1974, age 96.

Albert Kessel

Albert Kessel holding a sample of wheat. He was a farmer located 16 miles north of Rosetown and a grain specialist who won many trophies for growing world's best grain.

Clarence Kerr

A casual photo of Clarence Kerr, a farmer and long-time reeve of the RM of Marriott. He was the chairman of the hospital board in 1964 when the new hospital was built.

Charlie Taylor

Charles Taylor was Rosetown's first undertaker and remained the local funeral director for many years, as well as the town's Santa Claus during the Santa Day Parades at Christmas time.

Sunny Bank School Quilt

Students of Sunny Bank knit woollen squares which were assembled to make the pictured quilt. The quilt was then sent to the Red Cross which in turn sent it to soldiers overseas who served in World War II.
