Fonds consists of the professional papers of journalist Garry Fairbairn, arranged in three series reflecting three spheres of activity. The first series contains correspondence, copy, clippings, and other records documenting his career as a reporter for the Canadian Press Organization (CP), 1962-1981. The second series pertains to Fairbairn's involvement in the Saskatchewan Journalists Association, 1973-1978. It contains executive minutes, clippings, membership lists, briefs, correspondence, incorporation, founding convention and annual meeting materials, financial information, and publications including issues of 'The Saskatchewan Journalist'. Administrative files, research materials, photographs, and drafts relating to Fairbairn's commissioned book:, 'From Prairie Roots: the Remarkable Story of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool', comprise the third series.

Fonds consists of background information, correspondence, contracts, drafts, manuscripts, notes, reviews, financial information, and publicity materials relating to the writing, publishing, and production of five books, three plays, and numerous articles by Gail Bowen. Also included are examinations, student papers, and teaching materials pertaining to her role as a professor of English, and a small quantity of personal correspondence and financial records.

This fonds contains information concerning various professional associations, including the American, Canadian, and Saskatchewan Psychological Associations; Government departments and agencies, such as the Defense Research Board, the Women's Bureau, and the National Research Council; and the Royal Commission on Health Services. There are also several files of lecture and research notes (including work done with Dr. Jaques), personal correspondence, and departmental material, including reports, curriculum, recruitment, and promotion; as well as two of Dr. McMurray's abstracts: "Theories of Pain and Congenital Universal Insensitivity to Pain" and "The Background of Thought and Language."

This fonds contains correspondence with family, friends and colleagues; biographical and research grant information; research and bibliographic files and notes; manuscripts and typescripts of published and unpublished scholarly articles, book reviews, addresses and books; lecture notes and course materials; as well as drafts and typescripts of plays, short stories and several books for youth. A large percentage of the research files contain photocopies of secondary and primary materials.

The fonds, related to the Frontier Radio Club, were accumulated by the source. No other information was captured at the time of transfer to the Swift Current Museum.

This fonds contains 11 artworks of Saskatoon and the University campus by Fritz Stehwien.

The fonds consists of records relating to the research and writing of Aggressive in Pursuit, including correspondence and interviews with Hall and others; material relating to all the facets of Hall's career (lawyer, judge in Saskatchewan, Supreme Court of Canada justice, and his role on various commissions and enquiries). Some of the material was originally created or accumulated by Hall. Notably, this material includes letters from members of the public following the Stephen Truscott decision; correspondence of Hall as Chief Justice of Saskatchewan; and a personal note from Prime Minister Diefenbaker prior to the announcement of the Hall Commission on health services.

The fonds consists of 4 small notebooks created and used by Rev. Frederick A. Clare, during his time as an ordained minister: a diary (1937); a notebook (1940-1942); pocket record book (1933-1946), with information about church officers, communion services, members, baptisms, marriages, and burials for various Saskatchewan locations; and a notebook recording translations of 421 English words into Cree and/or Salteaux, as well as financial accounts information and additional notes.

The collection includes two black and white photographs from Fred Brown's private collection. The photographs were taken at Fritz-Starmont Lumber Co. in Ruby Lane, Saskatchewan. They include images of lumberjacks in front of log buildings at a Fritz-Starmont lumber camp.

The fonds primarily consists of papers by and relating to Rev. Hoffman and his and others work among Hungarian immigrants.

Contents include: correspondence and reports about missions in Alberta and Northern Saskatchewan; a list of Hungarian immigrants to Canada (some photos included); Az Otthon 1922-1925 (in Hungarian); and related materials, newspaper clippings, and documents concerning mission work and fieldwork Hoffman and others undertook in Saskatchewan. Among the materials is a biographical sketch of the Rev. Emerick Csendes [Czendes], written by Rev. Hoffman, and a copy of “Tales of Hoffman” by R.W. Hardy.

The Frank Glass Photograph Collection spans approximately ten decades of the history of Rosetown and district, consisting of photographs taken by and collected by Frank Glass.
