The fonds consists of textual materials generated by Biggar Pastoral Charge, as well as associated Monarch Pastoral Charge and Triumph (South Biggar) Pastoral Charge, their predecessors and constituent congregations – church boards, committees and related bodies, local women’s units and other groups.
Contents include: minutes of official board and council, Session, Stewards, committees, congregational, and Sunday School meetings; records of local Ladies Aid Societies, Woman’s Association (W.A.) and United Church Women (UC.W.) groups; annual reports and financial records; historic rolls and related membership records; Home Mission Record Books from Monarch and Triumph; and registers of baptisms, marriages, and burials held at Biggar, Kingsland and related areas.
