Kings Ltd. Parade Float in 1965
Decorated car was a 1958 Ford Edsel owned by Gordie Smith of Kings Ltd. Store. The flowers covering the car were made over the winter by the ladies working at Kings.

A float with nurses and "patients" decorated for the 50th provincial birthday parade. On 1st Street facing southwest. Searle elevator in background, skating rink in front. Smith School on left-hand side. All of these buildings are no more.
Probably a May 24th parade. Year of 1921 is marked on the picture. A tall wagon pulled by 2 white horses in show harness with braided manes and tails. Travelling north on Main Street; Eagle Office is in background. One man and two women in costume are on the wagons.
