Mrs. Heard represented the first graduating class of the Normal School, Bill Quance received the scroll in memory of his father, Dr. F. M. Quance, the first dean of the college of education. Mrs. Quance was presented with roses by Mrs. J. B. Kirkpatrick. Present for the occasion was Miss Beatrice Lick of Saskatoon, a classmate of Mrs. Heard's in 1912. From left to right are Miss Lick, Mrs. Heard, Mrs. Quance, Dr. S. R. Laycock, Wm R. Quance and his sister Ruth."
