Newsclipping of a contribution by Angus Mackay (Superintendent of the Experimental Farm) with his recollections of the early days of settlement of Indian Head and district.
Handwritten list entitled "early settlers" in 1882-1883. The author is unknown but the stationery is that of Experimental Farm Superintendent Angus MacKay and a note in the bottom right-hand corner says [? possibly about 1910]. At the bottom of the list, there is a note saying "out of a total of 68 in district in 1882-1883, 30 are still residing in the district, 16 have left, 21 are dead"
