Yochim’s collecting ranged over a variety of topics and medium. Often, he would take interest in a specific subject and collect everything from articles and clippings to books on the subject, interleaving the former with the latter. He also gathered “collectible” items such as trading cards and magnets on a variety of subjects.

Collection includes samples of Bhatty’s published and unpublished works, copies of his three theses from the University of Edinburgh; awards, patents, and certificates; correspondence and other academic materials. Accession 2015-023 is comprised of four CD’s of unlabelled family images.

The Gustafson collection includes five boxes of correspondence, including many with some of Canada's leading literary figures from the 1930s to the 1960s. The collection also houses manuscripts, proofs, and published first editions of some of Gustafson's well-known publications. There are also newspaper clippings and reviews.

This fonds provides only partial documentation of R. M. Ferguson's career at the University of Saskatchewan but represents a substantial portion of his academic research.

This collection contains print blocks and catalogues/booklets on printing and lithography.

Equivalent in scope to the Presidential or Vice-presidential records, this fonds specifically documents the administration of the Saskatoon campus from 1967-1974, and includes correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda. It also includes considerable documentation of the various administrative committees functioning during this period.

This series contains materials created and/or acquired by Walter Murray during his tenure as President, from 1908-1937, documenting nearly three decades of the University of Saskatchewan’s history including its establishment; the faculty crisis of 1919; the development of the Colleges of Agriculture, Arts & Science, Education, Engineering; Law; Medicine, Pharmacy and the Extension Division; and the financial crisis of the Depression years.

Given the nature and scope of the office, the Presidential records usually provide the most comprehensive source for documenting all facets of the University, including important initiatives, funding, research and teaching, college and departmental development, and faculty, staff, and student activities. Generally these records contain correspondence, reports, minutes, annual general reports of college and departmental activities, as well as some personal papers, speeches and addresses.

This material primarily relates to a 2007 project undertaken by the PACSW celebrating 100 years since the first women graduated from the University of Saskatchewan.

Background: In October 1990, President Ivany established a President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women to provide information and advice on issues that affect women on campus. The President’s Advisory Council on the Status of Women continues to play an important role in addressing gender-related issues on campus. The membership of the Council is representative of the groups at the University and consequently is able to bring forward issues affecting a wide range of women in our community.

This fonds contains materials relating to Nikiforuk's career as a professor and Dean of Engineering.

This fonds relates to the lives of siblings or descendants of RHD Phillips and Tanyss (Bell) Phillips. Robert Howard Daniel (“Bob”) Phillips (1921-2006) was a journalist. He joined the staff of the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as a research analyst, and later became the editor and publisher of the Western Producer. He married Tanyss Bell in 1951. Tanyss (1926-2016) was an economist who worked in the research department of the Bank of Canada, with the Saskatchewan Royal Commission on Agriculture and Rural Life, as a lecturer at the University of Regina, and as a contract editor. Both were alumni of the University of Saskatchewan.

This collection contains a complete set of the University of Saskatchewan 1939 and 1940 Graduates’ Newsletter, established and produced by Mr. Weber. This newsletter contains information on Engineering alumni, their careers since leaving university, and obituaries.
