Vice-President (Special Projects) / (Planning & Development) - BA Holmlund
This fonds contains materials created or received by the offices of VP (Special Projects) and VP (Planning and Development), including materials relating to information technology, budget preparation in response to the funding cutbacks of the 1980s; initiatives in biotechnology, toxicology, and native studies; major program reviews including the Colleges of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Home Economics; and the Issues and Options project. Additionally, this fonds contains some documentation relating to Holmlund's tenure as Acting President in 1989 including briefing notes for incoming president JWG Ivany; and to Holmlund's work on the boards of Ag-West Biotech, the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, etc. Publications and addresses from the whole of Holmlund's career are also included; these relate to his prior work in biomedical engineering, computing services, USG, etc. as well as to his senior administrative duties.

This fonds consists of a bank account book the Village of Tuxford had with the Canadian Bank of Commerce, 1926-1936 and a fire insurance map of the Village of Tuxford from 1923. The map was prepared by the Western Canada Fire Underwriters’ Association and is held within a black folio.

Buyniak during his career at the University of Saskatchewan. Though the material covers a broad spectrum of topics over several decades, the bulk of the material deals with aspects of Slavic language and culture.

Fonds consists of professional papers of W.C. Blight, 1919-1990. Most prominent are the numerous reports and memoranda he wrote in his capacity as Registrar and Campus Secretary, covering a wide range of topics including the history of the University, admissions and transfers, university structure and organization, registration, student unrest, native students, examinations, marking and grading, academic programs, federated colleges, and many other administrative matters. Also included is Blight's 'Curriculum Vitae', as well as photographs of University staff, convocations, and events.
