Looking up Boyle St. facing north. The picture was taken from 806 Boyle Street. The first residence is 808(?) Boyle Street. The Lady Minto Hospital and the Nurses' Residence are the buildings furthest away. (see also IHM.2021.0255)

Handwritten list entitled "early settlers" in 1882-1883. The author is unknown but the stationery is that of Experimental Farm Superintendent Angus MacKay and a note in the bottom right-hand corner says [? possibly about 1910]. At the bottom of the list, there is a note saying "out of a total of 68 in district in 1882-1883, 30 are still residing in the district, 16 have left, 21 are dead"
