A photograph of a newspaper clipping that is undated showing a school orchestra conducted by C.E. Cayley, principal of the Rosetown School. Included is pianist Laura King as a young girl (later Mrs. W.M. Aseltine).
The Rosetown Juvenile Brass Band was formed in February, 1921. The all male members are standing in front of the Rosetown Town Hall. Some names are provided: President Reg Conlin; VIce-President V.P.H. Ball; Manager John Steiner; Leader D. Steiner.
Photo was taken at Mike Pravda's farm. Emil Kolofa, bandmaster, standing at back. Other members are Marven Taylor, Charlie Slocombe, Ed Mackart, Edwin Krchov, Joe Cervenka, Victor Krchov, Frank Curda, Ed Lust Sr., John Curda, Ed Lust Jr., Mike Pravda.
