North West

Photos of three early Rosetown grain elevators along the railway tracks, with a stretch of train cars on the tracks. People wait outside the CNR station on the platform.

Zealandia, 1909

The Zealandia Railway Station is in the forefront of the photo, with the hotel across the street. The old Highway 7 runs between the station and the hotel. Main Street can be seen on the right-hand side of the picture.

CNR Station & Highway Businesses

Taken from the Pioneer elevator, this photo shows a CNR baggage wagon on the platform. Security Lumber (behind station) was open until 1970. In the background is the Flour Mill, Esso fuel tanks and storage building; the windmill is a pump for Maine's Water.

Zealandia Wheat Train

Four grain elevators, one belonging to the Goose Lake Grain and Lumber Co., are seen with a long row of box cars. A through track beside the station is also seen. "Zealandia wheat train, 1909" hand written on bottom of photograph in white marker.

CN Station, Rosetown

Taken looking northwest from track side. Two men seated out front by the tracks, one man leaving out the back. Note the line of laundry connected to what could be an outhouse at the back of the building.
